Shot taken at a square in Medina where a lot of metal work is done. The bird is (I am told!) a stork.
No serious pp done, just a bit of playing around with the sliders in ALR 5.6
Could have been better composed, but I like the contrast between the old and the new.

Unlike most other walls within the house, these are in extremely good condition. The guide in the room assured me that they were original, with only the smallest amount of repair work made to the plaster.
ISO 3200!
This is part of the tunnel between the Brewhouse in the cellars of the main house, exiting in the stable block. It's about 250-300 yards long and slopes uphill, but that's hardly noticeable.

Another part of the Brewhouse Tunnel between the cellars of the main house to the Stable block.
The unusual framing is due to a ladder lying on the floor against the R/H wall.
Due to open in September 2013.

Challenging lighting, with the light from the door (right hand side) competing with the gloom of the rest of the interior. I suppose I could have manipulated it more with LR, but I think it show enough detail as it is.
This is the only portrait I managed to get in Marrakech.
The large majority of residents don't allow their picture to be taken and those who do are normally street performers etc. This was the only normal person (ie not dressed in some costume) who was OK with his picture to be taken.
Note that there seems to be no welfare system in Morocco so some money is generally expected if someone agrees to pose for you.
a bit of RAW pp in ALR 5.6, no serious corrections needed!!
