Lumière
L’éclair primordial à l’origine du monde nous a laissé de profondes connections avec la lumière.
En fait, la lumière est indissociable de la vie, comme elle l’est des représentations que nous nous faisons de notre monde, de notre rencontre avec le « réel».
L’artiste peintre et le photographe savent, de façon intuitive, que c’est la maitrise de la lumière qui leur permet de représenter la dimension sensorielle de la matière, des objets, de la nature. Le célèbre peintre impressionniste Claude Monet disait à ce propos qu’un rivage, par exemple, n’existe pas en soi puisque son apparence change constamment avec la lumière et les conditions environnantes (et j’ajouterais, selon la sensibilité de l’artiste qui le représente). Alors….
Voilà donc Light….Ne chercher pas ce paysage dans un atlas géographique… Cependant, il en existe des traces (convaincantes) aux Iles de la Madeleine, au Québec (Canada)….

Light
The primordial lighting at the origin of the world left us with deep connections with the light. In fact, the light is inseparable from life, as it is as it is in our representation of the world, in our encounter with the reality.
The painter and the photographer know intuitively that is the mastery of the light that allows them to represent the sensorial dimension of the physical matter, the objects, and nature. Claude Monet, the famous impressionist painter said in this regard that any shoreline does not exist in itself because its appearance changes constantly with the light and the environmental conditions (and I would add, with the sensibility of the artist who represents it in painting or photography).
So here is Light. . . Don't look for this landscape in a geographical atlas. . . In the meantime, there are convincing traces of its existence in the Magdalene Islands, Quebec (Canada). . .
