Little snail I spotted underneath a fallen tree trunk.
I'm quite happy with the detail and noise rendition of the D7500, it's a clear step up compared to my previous D3300. I would have never been able to shot cleanly in this low light, ISO 6400 condition and get a decent result!
IL MICROKOSMO QUOTIDIANO
Nel linguaggio comune le chiocciole e le lumache sono sinonimi, ma in realtà c'è una sostanziale differenza: la lumaca è un termine comune con cui si indicano tutti i gasteropodi terrestri polmonati sprovvisti di conchiglia complessa e apprezzabile a occhio nudo (cioè il "guscio").
La chiocciola invece è dotata di conchiglia/guscio, che utilizza come difesa da condizioni climatiche sfavorevoli e da pericoli esterni.
Sia le lumache che le chiocciole quando si spostano lasciano la caratteristica "bava", che viene utilizzata spesso anche in campo estetico. Questa particolare sostanza viene rilasciata da questi animali in movimento come lubrificante, per evitare di ferirsi spostandosi.
La secrezione serve anche a creare l'epifragma (formazione che "tappa" l'ingresso della conchiglia permettendo di mantenere al suo interno la necessaria umidità) nel momento in cui la chiocciola si ritira nel suo guscio.

chi diventa schiavo dell'abitudine,

chi non si permette almeno una volta nella vita, di fuggire ai consigli sensati.
Lentamente muore chi non viaggia,
chi non legge,
chi non ascolta musica,
chi non trova grazia in se stesso.
Muore lentamente chi distrugge l'amor proprio,
chi non si lascia aiutare
chi passa i giorni a lamentarsi
della propria sfortuna o della pioggia incessante.
Lentamente muore
chi abbandona un progetto prima di iniziarlo,
chi non fa domande sugli argomenti che non conosce,
chi non risponde quando gli chiedono qualcosa che conosce.
Evitiamo la morte a piccole dosi,
ricordando sempre che essere vivo
richiede uno sforzo di gran lunga maggiore del semplice fatto di respirare.
Soltanto l'ardente pazienza
porterà al raggiungimento
di una splendida felicità.

Abbiamo fatto un bel giro Alyssia ed io. Armate di macchinette fotografiche, scovando piccoli dettagli ed animaletti nascosti e riparati dal freddo, che incalzante inizia a farsi sentire anche quì. Buon weekend ^_^

Daarnaast eten ze ook veel dood plantaardig materiaal. Sommige ondergronds levende soorten knagen aan de wortels, enkele soorten als de grote aardslak jagen zelfs op andere naaktslakken.
