What a rainy summer this year. The tiny people are getting bored cause of no outddor activity. So why not get back to those days where they played those old vintage boradgames such as "Ludo" ? I bet plenty of you remember this simple but fun game back in your childhood. Let me know in the comments if it brings up memories to you too :)

A male greenfinch in the vegetation by the Ludo Trail. They always look as if they are ready for a fight!
Ludo is a strategy board game for two to four players, in which the players race their four tokens from start to finish according to the rolls of a single die. Like other cross and circle games, Ludo is derived from the Indian game Pachisi, but simpler.
This year the FFF+ Group have decided to have a weekly challenge called “Snap Happy”. A different theme chosen by a member of the group each week, and the image is to be posted on the Monday of the week.
This week the theme, “colourful” was chosen by Andrew, ajhaysom.
I had thought to do a photo using brightly coloured buttons for the theme, so I was going through my button box when I came across an almost complete set of Ludo tokens. They quickly became my choice for my photo instead of the buttons because of their simplicity, the rage of ways I could set them and of course for their wonderful primary colours!

The hoopoe is my favourite bird of the Algarve. Last year we were coming across them everywhere, but this distant shot of a chick being fed was all I could manage this year. To have a chick that size at the beginning of February the hen must have been on eggs in December or even November.

The Ludo House is a charming 4 bedroom brick and oversized wood siding home with a two-car garage and a very spacious open structure attic level.
The control panel allows you to control access, and change colors to customize your home. The exterior siding has 11 color choices, floors have 4 and interior walls have 6.
