Last nights sunset felt surreal to me.... I started on the left side of the Huntington pier but ended up chasing the light all the way down the beach close to the dog beach off Golden West.... I had the beach largely to myself due to the weather and incoming storm. It was high tide coming in... the waves would rush up over this big piece of sea kelp into a little pool forming as the beach's sand bank dipped back down slightly... the rush of cold water over my feet with the small break in the clouds sending heavenly yellow beams down on the cargo ship in the distance made me feel so alive in the moment! A long exposure made for a nice moody sunset photo.... I hope you like viewing it as much as I enjoyed capturing it!! :D

Here i wanted to expose the external area of the window with a long exposure. So turned off the lights gave it a 30 seconds exposure and flash at the end of exposure to capture the rest. Not the result i had in mind. Then did some processing to give it this dreamy look.
Early morning on a lake in Southeast Kansas. I didn't have my ND filter so I went down real early in low light to maximize my exposure. The waves were moving decent and it allowed me to get a little bit of that smoky, smooth look. add some color and shapes to the girl with the tattoo. Been trying some new things maybe i went to far lol or not far enuff ;)

Theme: Jump
Although the theme for this week was 'jump', I wasn't sure I wanted an actual jumping picture, and that's why it took so long to come up with an idea. Anyways, I have a blog post up, if anyone cares to hear about my thought process on this picture. I want to start blogging about my images, instead of writing a novel in my description. Trying to keep it sweet and short, but also with the option for more, for those who want it. ;)
Anyways, I'm catching up! I have two more images to post this week, and I'm going to shoot even more. :) Keep your eyes open! ;)

Lucid Motors is the latest addition to the list of electric cars manufacturers selling cars in the netherlands. The company from California introduced its first car, the Air, in 2021. The Dream Edition R has an output of 946 PS. The maximum range is up to 883 km. All this doesn't come cheap. The price for this one here is € 220,000 or US$ 243,000.

Saw this at the local Cars & Coffee gathering in Queen Creek, Arizona.
The Lucid Air is an electric vehicle that’s aimed to compete against the likes of the Tesla Model S, the Karma Revero, the Porsche Taycan and other brands in the luxury EV market.
I’m not exactly sure which Lucid Air edition is depicted. The cited Wikipedia article states, “…The entry level Air Pure will be equipped with a 88 kWh battery with rear wheel drive, capable of producing 480 hp (358 kW), 600 N⋅m (443 lbf⋅ft) of torque and 406 mi (653 km) of range. The Air Dream Edition Range will have a 112 kWh battery pack which will provide an estimated 520 mi (840 km) of EPA range. The Air Dream Edition Performance will have a combined output of 1,111 hp (828 kW) and will be able to accelerate from 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) in 2.5 seconds. In their most recent performance test, it achieved a top speed of 235 mph (378 km/h)…”
