Over the last ten years I have been observing the amazing Ibis flocks that abundantly congregate over the Florida Everglades. Tens-of-thousands of them migrating across 'the expanse' during their mating seasons, and also throughout all of the other Florida seasons, as well. Their incredible numbers seemed to have stayed the same over the years and they are still as visually appealing to me as they were ten years ago. They are always a joy to see floating across the sunset horizon, and I always look for them with the hope of capturing that one 'lifetime image' of them in a somewhat perfect formation. I am still trying...and I still enjoy it. Thanks for looking.

It is a featherless Sunday. I went to Arthur R. Marshall-Loxahatchee NWR but not many birds were within lens reach but this Spider obliged.

Again, my 200mm couldn't quite reach, but I so liked the morning light on them!

Many thanks to Flickr contact Jake Paredes who shared this location for the Cedar Waxwings. I am always a day late to see them. Fortunately on this morning they stayed around for a short while. A hawk was in a nearby tree and it wasn't long before he flew a little to close to this flock and they all took off. This is cropped in a lot.. I was hand holding the 100-400 almost straight up in the air. They were pretty high up in the tree. A close inspection of some of the other images showed that they were exchanging a bug. Thanks so much Jake www.flickr.com/photos/jake_paredes/

My wife and I enjoy stopping in at Third Street Bagel. The staff is always very friendly and the food is always delicious. It is a great place to have breakfast

Well OK, technically smoked salmon but that doesn't alliterate as well as lox. 😁

Shot this while doing a site walk through at a client's facilities. It was raining and cool already. The fog generated at the supercooled connectors and small amounts of liquid oxygen leakage around the hose fittings made the truck look dramatic.

At Lox with Alan, June and Kristin…I was the only one who had the longer lens in place when June spotted this gorgeous fellow high up in a cypress tree….I promised them I would post this. Explored Dec. 28, 2010, Highest position #492 Thank you all!

This was amazing, comparable to Russ & Daughters in NYC.. the bagels here are all stars.
