A fortuitous break in the clouds reveals a fleeting moment of golden evening light as BNSF HKCKSPO passes through Belknap, Montana, on October 1, 2014. Three leased Montana Rail Link SD45s (382, 319 and 328, now labeled SD45-2s) power the high-priority manifest freight westbound on MRL’s Fourth Subdivision.

Another practice run of the scene-referred workflow in Darktable. Unfortunately I don't have enough of an eye for color photography to gauge whether it's accomplishing what it set out to accomplish, but I think I'm at a point where I can work it OK -- for B&W conversion of course!
