Though we've been up for hours ... had coffee and cereal here on our cooking rock, and then planned to do some photography before packing it up. And, very happy not to be in the fog ...
Made with leaves gathered while walking earlier in the fall. I originally was going to press them into wax paper but got busy...and they dried out beautifully. I arranged them in a wreath on a thrift store plate. I make soy wax candles, and had a thrift store, milk glass vase that I turned into a candle, which I set in the center. A couple of old Christmas balls and voila! A simple, greener, fall centerpiece. Doubly nice, the leaves will go out in the yard when they're done, the plate will be reused again, and I will refill the vase again with a new wick and wax when it runs down.

Organic hand-dyed wool make these arm warmers extra special. I love the combinatio of the deep moss green with the bright apple green stitching. Found in my Mercy Me shop.

Here's a sporty twist on your favorite sweater; the perfect hoodie! It's lightweight, warm, soft, and has a beautiful drape. Here in a hand-dyed organic merino wool jersey. The body of the sweater is a muted purplish grey, while the lining of the hood is a gunmetal blue.
Other Information: We use Oeko-Tex 100 Certified organic merino wool jersey and low-impact, non-toxic dyes.
Why Wool? Wool is breathable AND wicks moisture, which helps regulate body temperature better. Wool has natural anti-microbial properties that helps keep your garment cleaner and smelling nicer for longer than a garment made with another fiber type. Wool is a naturally renewable resource. Even though wool isn't the "cheapest" fiber to purchase, in terms of function, you get more value for your money. Three Cheers for wool!
