The National Assembly (in French Assemblée Nationale) is one of the two parts of the bicameral parliament of France. The other chamber is the Senate.
The Palais Bourbon is the building where the French National Assembly is located, on the left bank of the Seine, next to the Concorde Bridge and the Place de la Concorde.
The Farm in 1982. I think my friend Rona Elliott took this shot as she and her family was visiting us for the holidays. I had it in my collection and tweaked it a bit (not much).
Here is a new time stack with long exposure effects. So this is at at the the roof of the Lower House of German Parliament (Bundestag) at the Reichstag in Berlin. In order to get the main part of the roof that empty I needed a set of different exposures and blended then together to get this look. The post processing was done with Photoshop CC. The pictures where taken with my Canon EOS 40D.

To visiting that building you need to register first and apply for a time slot… And after I get that, I did some serious tourist action and I was trying to get some good HDR shots that Day! The post processing was done with Photomatix and Photoshop CC. The pictures where taken with my Canon EOS 40D.

New a couple of months earlier, Burnley & Pendle Volvo B10M-50 / East Lancs 24 stands outside the Lane Ends Hotel in the Lowerhouse area of Burnley awaiting its return journey to town in this view from March 1992.

Since I started to do some time stack I thought it would be cool to combine time stack with long exposure effects and get some cool looks that you can’t get by a single exposure. So this is at at the the roof of the Lower House of German Parliament (Bundestag) at the Reichstag in Berlin. In order to get the main part of the roof that empty I needed a set of different exposures and blended then together to get this look. The time stack in the night sky was quite easy to get since this is some material from a time laps. The post processing was done with Photoshop CC. The pictures where taken with my Canon EOS 40D.

Having shown a light fixture in the King's Hall a couple of days ago, I thought I'd follow up with one from the House of Representatives. I'd be interested to know which you prefer!
The House of Representatives is a large internal space in the Old Parliament Building in Canberra, with ceilings considerably higher than that of King's Hall. It is lined with timber panelling, representative of designer John Smith Murdoch's simplified classical style, with furnishings in a similar style. The timber used in the wall panelling, the desks, seats and tables is all Australian black bean wood and Tasmanian blackwood. The hand-woven carpets have a pattern of eucalyptus leaves and wattle blossom.
The House of Representatives is characterised by the colour green, representing the historic inheritance of the Representatives, as the lower house and the house in which governments are formed, from the House of Commons in the Palace of Westminster.
The Old Parliament Building was where Australia's Parliament sat from 1927 to 1988. It is now generally open as a museum for the public to visit.

Until the advent of television, sights such as this were relatively rare, the inside of the national parliament was considered almost sacrosanct. Now the activity there is streamed live, relevant clips appear daily on the news channels and people are familiar with the appearance and décor.
As [https://www.flickr.com/photos/gnmcauley] notes, the main parliament chamber at Leinster House was originally a lecture theatre leased from the Royal Dublin Society. It was bought outright for Dáil use, and redesigned in the mid-1920s (likely putting this image after that date)...

Superpower in the form of Colas 56113 & 56090 'Grids' for this mornings 6E32, seen here approaching Rose Grove station. This, I am ashamed to say, is the first time I have photographed the Preston tanks at this locality.
* Rose Grove (10F) steam shed was located behind the trees where now exists the M65 motorway.

The Lower House is where the Ridgley family lived while the mansion was being built in the 1790s. It was later used as the Overseer's house during the plantation era. After the mansion was sold in 1948, the seventh and last generation of Ridgleys moved back to the Lower House. It is now part of the NHS museum.
Urban Street Photo near the Brandenburger Gate in Berlin - Germany. I shot this at a public holiday and tried to get a shallow depth of field shot with all the people around. The Iowa Capitol Building contains both the State House of Representatives and State Senate. This is the House of Representatives.
It's been restored to its original glory as part of a larger restoration project. One interesting fact, there is no wall paper in the entire capitol building. Everything is stenciled on by a group of talented (full-time) restoration painters.
The Iowa House of Representatives is the lower house of the Iowa General Assembly. There are 100 members of the House of Representatives, representing 100 single-member districts across the state with populations of approximately 29,750 for each constituency. The entire chamber serves two-year terms and then goes up for re-election as an entire group every even-numbered year.
There are no term limits. Each congressmen will earn $25,000 in salary plus per diems.

The Lower House is where the Ridgley family lived while the mansion was being built in the 1790s. It was later used as the Overseer's house during the plantation era. After the mansion was sold in 1948, the seventh and last generation of Ridgleys moved back to the Lower House.
Across Hampton Lane from the mansion house was the working area of the plantation. Visable here are the Lower House (Overseer's house), slave quarters (stone buildings), the dairy or creamery (left of picture) and the Long House Granary behind the tree &below.
