Mystery Island is a beautiful unspoilt tropical paradise in Vanuatu. The biggest mystery about Mystery Island is that nobody lives there!

I'm sorting old photos and posting a few interesting ones. This image was uploaded to Flickr on Jan. 3, 2022.

Thank you to everyone who visits, faves, and comments.

Thought I might try to channel the lovely weather from this shot 2 weeks ago to now..cause the weather is terrible..say Chiseagle's shot of Nobby's (link below) and remembered I hadn't looked at mine from 2 weeks ago.

So everyone who has been shooting up Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge has a shot of Punchbowl Falls from this exact angle. Well, here is mine.

Thank you for good & bad, for unique experiences. Thank you for being compatible with my hyper / crazy personality. You are my soulmate! 25 years here 7.7.20 ♥️

New Brighton - We got the flavour

Whatever happens in New Brighton the community works together to sort it out

That feeling when something moves you to the point when you feel every cell of your body like electricity, sometimes inconvenient, sometimes overwhelming but definitely worth living for ! 💚

It is a bliss to realize that you are surrounded by love ! When you look around & think to yourself “I’m happy just being here” ♥️

Bisanakandi is situated at Bangladesh-India border in Sylhet. It is a landscape beauty among gardens and hills

As a person I’m fascinated by Brooklyn’s history & history of this place. As an immigrant growing up in Brooklyn I’m fascinated by the role Brooklyn played in shaping our lives whether or not we ever were aware of how it made us what we are today. The only thing is accent. Even after 25 years here even though it’s almost unnoticeable and few can tell it’s Russian (probably because now it is mixed with Brooklyn) I still have it. Sometimes listening to people speaking English think to myself: “ahhh, sounds so nice ! I will never be able to speak like that !”

Um cantinho do paraíso para jamais esquecer!

LI sunsets & sunrises left me breathless... Old Westbury, Huntington & Oyster Bay is next next month 💙

Michael and I are headed to the coast later today, so it seems appropriate to share a few of the sea.

I'll end with my favorite, from Ireland of course.

Image made with my Nikon F100.

Straight lines go too quickly to appreciate the pleasures of the journey. They rush straight to their target and then die in the very moment of their triumph without having thought, loved, suffered or enjoyed themselves. Broken lines do not know what they want. With their caprices they cut time up, abuse routes, slash the joyous flowers and split the peaceful fruits with their corners. It is another story with curved lines. The song of the curved line is called happiness.

I wonder what the sunrise would like here ... have to see one day off ♥️ I think I got hooked on that night ♥️♥️

"How I Love You"

You hold me in your eyes

In your own special way

I wonder how you know

The things I never say

I can't imagine life

Without you by my side

The power of your love

Is all I need tonight

I know there have been times

That I have caused you pain

I'd turn them all around

If I could start again

There's something I must say

I know it's overdue

The sweetest thing I've known

Forever called my own

Begins and ends with you

How I love you

How I love you

The softness of your lips

The color of your hair

The memory of your touch

Remains when you're not there

The echoes of your laughter

When I'm feeling blue

The meaning of my life

It all begins with you - #engelberg m.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6iRIqABLDM

My first Brooklyn sunset of 2020 ♥️

This photo is my personal favorite for various reasons

Sometimes I wish I was back in the 90's... before the terrorists attacks, before the twin towers collapse, before ups & downs of economy, before the term & meaning of millennials. But in any time & age the beauty of NYC skyline melts all the ugliness around us, and only its beauty remains, as a reminder that beauty & love always win !!!

Much Better Viewed Large On Black

Monday night, I had the pleasure of meeting one of my long-standing flickr contacts, Aaron Winters (steeladw), who gave me a great insider's view of Rochester, NY. We lucked out with the light at the George Eastman Estate.

Check out Aaron's excellent photostream:

Is it getting better

Or do you feel the same?

Will it make it easier on you now #U2

Will admit that I call this place my “antidepressant” ... when feeling down for whatever reason it really cheers me up

Yes the world is the best place of all

for a lot of such things as

making the fun scene

and making the love scene

and making the sad scene

and singing low songs of having

inspirations

and walking around

looking at everything

and smelling flowers

and goosing statues

and even thinking

and kissing people and

making babies and wearing pants

and waving hats and

dancing

and going swimming in rivers

on picnics

in the middle of the summer

and just generally
