Thought I might try to channel the lovely weather from this shot 2 weeks ago to now..cause the weather is terrible..say Chiseagle's shot of Nobby's (link below) and remembered I hadn't looked at mine from 2 weeks ago.
So everyone who has been shooting up Eagle Creek in the Columbia River Gorge has a shot of Punchbowl Falls from this exact angle. Well, here is mine.

As a person I’m fascinated by Brooklyn’s history & history of this place. As an immigrant growing up in Brooklyn I’m fascinated by the role Brooklyn played in shaping our lives whether or not we ever were aware of how it made us what we are today. The only thing is accent. Even after 25 years here even though it’s almost unnoticeable and few can tell it’s Russian (probably because now it is mixed with Brooklyn) I still have it. Sometimes listening to people speaking English think to myself: “ahhh, sounds so nice ! I will never be able to speak like that !”
LI sunsets & sunrises left me breathless... Old Westbury, Huntington & Oyster Bay is next next month 💙
Michael and I are headed to the coast later today, so it seems appropriate to share a few of the sea.

Straight lines go too quickly to appreciate the pleasures of the journey. Sometimes I wish I was back in the 90's... before the terrorists attacks, before the twin towers collapse, before ups & downs of economy, before the term & meaning of millennials. But in any time & age the beauty of NYC skyline melts all the ugliness around us, and only its beauty remains, as a reminder that beauty & love always win !!!
