Violet is a fellow photographer and incredible at what she does!! I am constantly floored at the fact people want ME to take their photos. Especially when they are so talented as well :) She and Grant traveled all the way from Indianapolis for a few days to enjoy the city and treat themselves to a fun photo session. We took ourselves to Navy Pier and dealt with some pretty hefty winds & cold temperatures. Regardless, these two kept each other extremely happy. Loved this entire session!

The greatest love story ever told is your own..

We met in a dingy little alt club through a mutual friend. A couple nights later I was having a bad night.
As our friend and I stood waiting for our drinks at the bar I said to her
"I need to meet a nice GOOD guy for once"
He looked right at me and said "I'm a nice good guy" and smiled this adorable smile at me.
The very first time he told me he loved me he had said
"You make it very hard for someone not to fall in love with you...in fact, I already have"
It was raining and we were standing on a busy rainy Richmond street across from the bar we met at in the middle of the night. I kissed him right there in the pouring rain.
When I I told him I loved him I wrote "Je t'aime" on a small piece of paper and put it in his wallet.
We moved in together after a couple months of knowing one another. We were engaged shortly after.
We were laying in bed talking about it and he casually asked me if I would marry him.
It's been 10 years together. Today is our 8th Wedding Anniversary.
He still makes me laugh every single day.
he still makes me roll my eyes every single day.
he still kisses me and compliments me sincerely every single day
he goes beyond simply encouraging me to follow my dreams.
He talks me out of vacuous threats of giving up on my goals/dreams when I am tired and frustrated.
He still flirts with me and sends me flirty text messages.
He still makes me happy every single day.
In the last 10 years , we have experienced so many amazing times and so many tough times together. There's always been love, respect, trust and support.Never taking each other for granted. I am more in love with him now having experienced so much of life together. We've come so far, I'm so proud of us and our accomplishments.
Despite my love for words and my tendency to ramble, I feel like I can never accurately say how much I love you so I will simply say that, I love you.
