....to Sri Lanka!

It’s been a long time since I last visited Flickr and have missed my dear Flickr friends and the interaction with them. We were so busy with so many things at home and work.

We will be flying home for a long vacation to Sri Lanka from 14th Mar to 30th May 2022. I might be able to check your posts and fave them, but giving comments is not sure. Planning to do so much of house work, visiting friends and family members, photography etc..

Ruddy Shelduck in flight at Masirah Island, Oman

FACTS:

Striking and distinctive gooselike duck. Plumage bright ruddy overall with contrasting pale creamy head and neck; male has narrow black neck ring. Big white forewing patches striking in flight. Breeds in southeastern Europe and Central Asia, winters in South Asia. Often found around saline lakes; also reservoirs and agricultural fields. Escapees from waterfowl collections occasionally seen free-flying outside of native range. (eBird)
