Big day today...my oldest donated her hair to Locks of Love.

This is the painting that my class did for a school event. We incorporated everything that we have talked about this school year. The coast is La Jolla Shores with the Taj Mahal, Sydney Harbor Bridge, St. Basil's and the Eiffel Tower. (the first three were the children's interpretation of photos they saw in a magazine, the Eiffel Tower was something that was built over and over in our classroom). We love our shark infested waters with the lone surfer and the octopus which may or may not take the surfer out to sea. Everyday, children have been creating stories about the painting.
We had an overwhelming response from the parents to add to the painting. The creatures on the beach are done by parents as well as the surfer and octopus. I took the picture yesterday and we had some last minute additions that I'll post on Monday- they were palm trees, shells, and a treasure chest.
We are quite impressed with their accomplishment and so are they :)

A "Wall of Love" made up of messages posted in Peckham, south London, after the riots is to be preserved.
Hundreds of people hit back at rioters with the peaceful Post-it notes of support which transformed a boarded-up shopfront in Rye Lane.
The goodwill messages, left on the Poundland store which was targeted by looters on Monday night, read "We love Peckham because..."
They will be preserved at nearby Peckham library for the public to view.

Love = Cholera, emotionally and physically, expressed in Garcia Marquez's novel Love in the Time of Cholera. Garcia Marquez is one of my favorite writers. I went to see the movie yesterday. Quite honestly, I am really disappointed. It was not anybody's fault, including director's or actros'. Exactly like Roger Ebert said, Love in the Time of Cholera proves, once again, that the art of Garcia Marquez is in the writing.

Received some small promo tubes of love hearts so prompted to do a shot with them. Had to go out & buy another 4 tubes as it turns out you need a few packets to get the best sweets.

Other than being a known figure in superbike race, she is also the host of two motoring tv programs called Manibela and Stoplight on UNTV channel. She has also a motoring radio show called Inside Motoring over DZRJ-AM. A writer for Mo2rista Magazine. It is noteworthy that Love-Love is a road safety instructor for law enforcers.
If you can still remember the tv commercial of UFC called "Tulin", with Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villaroel, Love-Love is the rider of the black big bike. Watch the Video Here
I wish to photoshoot her in action someday with either on her Ducati or Suzuki GSXR1000. Or maybe in a high fashion concept for a change, but i haven't seen her legs yet. LOL! As of this writing, we are already talking about it.:)
By the way, Love-Love had a total of seven bikes (Honda VFR400R, Honda CVR900RR, Suzuki Hayabusa, GSX1300R, Suzuki TL1000R, Suzuki GSXR600, and Ducati 916 Sienna) before settling with Suzuki GSXR1000.
It was her first time to compete in the Scooter Category of the Repsol Road Race recently.
