Would you believe me when I do you
You are the queen of my heart
Please don't deceive me when I hurt you
Just ain't the way it seems
Can you feel my love buzz?
A great friend of mine who I am honored to call a brother and his soon to be wife at the Hastings Firehouse.

For those who don't know, The bench sculpture that the man is resting on is one of 2. One is "+" and the other is "x" representing "love" and "hate" which is symbology also used in the "O" system that visitors use to vote on artworks through the gallery. Whether this particular bench sculpture is love or hate probably depends on your perspective ;p

Love has no desire but to fulfill itself. To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night. To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving.
Acknowledging vital supporters at King's Mill Road, home to Driffield Town Cricket Club. The sign is on the players' pavilion. Captured before a crunch relegation battle with Harrogate in ECB Yorkshire Premier League North. A tense contest, lasting a shade over seven hours (including a 45-minute rain interruption), went down to the last ball, off which the visitors required three for victory. Driffield, beset by injuries, dismissed William Bates to secure a winning draw. It moved the Wolds men six points clear of the relegation zone as they swapped places with 2018 newcomers Sessay. There are three matches left, and any one of Sessay, Driffield Town, Harrogate and Clifton Alliance could join doomed Acomb in dropping, for 2019, to the York & District Senior League's Premier Division.
Harrogate had looked likely winners for long spells. After Corrie Keable's early dismissal, Josh Atkinson (86) and Alexis Twigg (76) put on 125 for the second wicket. Harrogate's momentum faltered seriously when Jamie Hopper (3-31) removed Atkinson, the fourth visitor dismissed, with the score on 191. Earlier, Driffield owed much to Goddard (30 not out) and Thomas Hudson (24), who added 56 priceless runs for the ninth wicket. Hudson was bowled off the last ball of the innings. The hosts scored painfully slowly during the opening 10 overs before Sri Lankan Kavindu Kulasekara (61) and Danny Broumpton (29) got them moving. Ashley Griffin (5-50) ensured Driffield's acceleration didn't get out of hand.
Match statistics:
Admission: free. Programme: none. Attendance: 50. Driffield Town won the toss and elected to bat. Driffield Town 212-9 off 50 overs (Kavindu Kulasekara 61, Mark Goddard 30 not out, Danny Broumpton 29, Thomas Hudson 24, Ashley Griffin 5-50) 8pts drew with Harrogate 210-7 off 50 overs (Josh Atkinson 86, Alexis Twigg 76, Jamie Hopper 3-31) 4pts. Umpires: Paul McFarlane and Gordon Prescott. Mug of tea 70p, jam and cream scone 40p.
Skelita is the newest member of my home. Now, we all love the Monster High Fashionistas, but, let’s be honest. They can be a bit La-De-Dah when it comes to new pretty girls moving in. So, all of them, even Frankie and Drac, have given Skelita the cold shoulder.
Mythica, Dragon girl and Dragon Master of Dragonious, has been very kind to her, but dragons are solitary beings. So, Skelita has been left by herself. One night, I heard her wailing inside her coffin bed. It broke my heart. I went to her and held her bones in my arms.
I then decided to surprise her. So, I made her a companion doll that looks like her; okay, her doll is a bit more surreal looking. When I gave her little Skellie Skelita, she was thrilled, to say the least. Now, all the other monsters want a little skellies that looks like they do.
Now Skelita and little Skellie Skelita spend hours together having fun and all the other monsters are green with envy, which is really bugging Mythica because SHE is green…naturally. Sigh…
Teenagers! Monsters! Oh, my!

Let the rain kiss you
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops
Let the rain sing you a lullaby
The rain makes still pools on the sidewalk
The rain makes running pools in the gutter
The rain plays a little sleep song on our roof at night
And I love the rain.

I really like the look of the braiding device that came with the bracelet maker. Plus the charms are adorable.

A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path.
-Agatha Christie
To a child's ear, 'mother' is magic in any language.
