Der Grund warum ich in den letzen Jahren kaum Bilder hochlud ist, das ich mein Leben komplett umgekrempelt habe. Ich brachte noch vor gut 3 1/2 Jahren 105 kg auf die Waage. Bekam dann aber gesundheitliche Probleme, aufgrund meines Übergewichtes und habe dann mein Leben von einem Tag auf den anderen komplett umgekrempelt. Angefangen Kraft- und Ausdauertraining zu machen und meine Essgewohnheiten umgestellt. Mittlerweile sinds 40kg weniger und ich bereue nichts. Allerdings blieb dabei die Fotografie ziemlich auf der Strecke. Hab mir vorgenommen das im kommenden Jahr wieder etwas mehr zu betreiben.
The reason why I haven't uploaded any pictures in the last few years is that I've completely turned my life upside down. A good 3 1/2 years ago I weighed 105 kg. But then I got health problems because of my overweight and then from one day to the next I completely turned my life upside down. I started doing strength and endurance training and changed my eating habits. Now it's 40kg less and I have no regrets. However, photography fell by the wayside. I decided to do it a little more in the coming year.

So you just started a 365 project and you're wondering what you're going to do today? That's what We're Here! is all about. Many moons ago, some good friends formed an irrascible group to keep themselves inspired through their 365 projects. That group was known as Flickr Group Roulette. A year later, when everyone mistakenly thought FGR would be closing down, some of the members formed The Rogue Players.
All was well in flickrland for several years as FGR and TRP both grew and flourished. Then in 2011 both groups dropped the final curtain. The members who still participated were left without a group, so they set off to form their own. You don't have to do a self portrait a day to participate in We're Here! Hell, you don't even have to be doing a 365 project of any sort. You just have to be willing to play.
At the beginning of each month, the members pick days, and on those days they issue challenges, usually, but not necessarily flickr group based, to the other members. Some days, the challenges are inspiring. Other days they suck. Some days the sucky challenges are the most inspirational. The result, however, is general merriment and the continuation of the creative process. So if you are looking for an ancillary group to keep you going through your 365 project, check us out. Participate , and at the beginning of next month, pick a day quick before they're gone.

Fourth day in and the numbers are slowing dropping.....and I’m dropping weight at the same time.
I even went to Starbucks to get coffee for Lindsey and I wasn’t even tempted.

Before 450 lbs plus.. My doc didn't have a scale that went up high enough.. but it was close.
Now.. 230 - 240 lbs. And I've NEVER regretted it.
