The Cygnus Loop (W78, or Sharpless 103) is a large supernova remnant (SNR) in the constellation Cygnus, an emission nebula measuring nearly 3° across.
My new wide field setup (takahashi FS60 @f/6 + ASI2600mm) allowed me to get this famous target in its entirety (or almost) with a two panels mosaïc.
Processing is classical HOO with RGB stars (Pixinsight & Photoshop).

Eastleigh - Tyseley Steam Trust empty stock passes Hatton station. A service from Stratford sits in the bay at the station, while n the distance you can just (just!) see 66554 in the loop with the Fairwater Yard - Doncaster Wood Yard.

Everett 500 has left the NS interchange and heads off to serve customers. The short train is passing through the unincorporated community of Loop, PA just south of Hollidaysburg.
