The beaver pond five minutes south of the junction with the Dedication Loop. The huge beaver lodge is visible top left but I've never seen the beaver this year, which is odd because up to this year the beaver was a sure certain sighting in this lake, so much so I came to call the lake Beaver Lake.

I hope he's well. But there is so much beaver activity in the north end of the park at the moment that possibly he's just taken leave of absence to join in the fun.
