Here I was, driving and looking up for nice sky shots or perhaps an interesting plane or two, when I happened to snap this bridge. I like diagonals, so I kept it.

When I went for a walk in the lush fernery at Bendigo Botanic Gardens over summer, there was a strange smell in the air and the branches had unusually large leaves. When you looked closely, hundreds of fruit bats were sleeping or chattering in the high branches.

 

I photographed this one on my phone as it was about to visit its neighbour.

At our nearby park. I so rarely get a picture of Kylie's eyes anymore. She's always looking down and on the run. So I was tickled to get this one.

 

She has a square woodchip in her hands (she has an uncanny ability to find these amongst the other wood ships). Today the wood was "chocolate".

Pendennis Castle is an artillery fort constructed by Henry VIII near Falmouth, Cornwall, England between 1540 and 1542. It formed part of the King's Device programme to protect against invasion from France and the Holy Roman Empire, and defended the Carrick Roads waterway at the mouth of the River Fal.
