Been using this as my desktop wallpaper for awhile. One of my faves because of the wispy water and the colours. I haven't gone out shooting. I just don't have the pep to do it :-/
After a foggy failed attempt at sunrise yesterday, long time friend and fellow flickr photographer Joe Micallef and I tried our hand at a late morning session of seascapes at Burwood Beach, NSW; Australia.
This coincided nicely with a run-out tide and allowed us to make the most of the conditions that presented once the fog had burnt off!
Hope you like this effort!!
Have a great day and week folks!!
Thanks too for any comments, views or favorites for this (or any of my other) image/s!

224seconds, f/11
At times like this when I am wishing for a 14mm lens. Paid another sunset visit to my fav spot but this is an angle I haven't done before...I have a few shots with a better angle of the bridge but this was the first shot and it just kinda stuck with me and I just love the textures and colours of the worn wood and rust.
This is lit by hand in 0.5s (within a 2-seconds exposure). I just uploaded the behind-the-scenes on ig. Check this out if you're curious about this technique :)

A few things about this one:
1- It's really hard to get sharp images when working with the waves like this. My trick is to do extremely fast movements with my tube (MilkyWhite). I went as fast as 1/2 second within a 2-seconds exposure during that night
2- Another challenge we had that night was that we couldn't get a proper alignement with the sun (dirty beach on the right side). I thought about using a 50mm lens which totally saved the night. The narrow field of view was exactly what I needed to be able to get that super cool composition
3- exifs: 50mm, f5.6, 2sec, iso100, 2000 lumens
