After photographing New York and some of the most famous cities in the world by night, I never thought I could get a decent shot of the closest one to my home, Milano. But, thank to the office of a friend I had the opportunity to steal this photo during a foggy night around the Xmas days with the lights of the city which were contributing in creating a festal athmosphere. After that, a little post production to improve the colors temperature and that's it, my little different picture of the "otherwise gray" City with its cathedral, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, The skyscrapers on the far side, the Sforzesco Castle on the left. Enjoy it!

Cuando baja el nivel del pantano de Iznajar, también conocido como el "Lago de Andalucía" por su gran extensión, se puede pasear por este puente que comunicaba Iznajar con Rute.
El Puente Viejo sobre el río Cardener a la entrada suroeste de Manresa, viniendo de Barcelona. De origen romano, la actual se trata de la reconstrucción fiel de un puente medieval también reconstruido en el siglo XII,
Otro relajante rincón que encontré en el río Arbillas fue esta bonita cascada que daba lugar a una profunda poza ideal para el baño por su agua pura y cristalina. El sonido del agua te envuelve totalmente en la naturaleza...

No es una buena foto pero el momento me hizo evocar esta cita de la novela Siddharta que de alguna forma permanecía oculta en mi memoria desde hacía muchísimo tiempo:

La principale Piazza a Siracusa è Piazza Duomo che rappresenta il simbolo della ricostruzione barocca in seguito al terremoto del 1693. La Piazza ospita interessanti edifici storici e religiosi; dapprima è possibile notare, per via della sua maestosa facciata, lo stupendo Duomo, dedicato alla Natività di Maria, costruito intorno al VII secolo e ristrutturato dopo il terremoto. Esso fu edificato su antichi reperti greci ed in particolare su un tempio, realizzato in onore alla dea Atene, risalente V secolo a.C.
Accanto al Duomo, sorge il Palazzo Senatorio, o chiamato anche Palazzo Vermexio, sede del Municipio, ed edificato da Andrea Vermexio tra il 1629 ed il 1633. A destra del Duomo, invece, si innalza il Palazzo Vescovile e di seguito il Monastro e la Chiesa di Santa Lucia.
L’altra parte della Piazza invece ospita residenze privati, com il Palazzo Gaetani ed il Palazzo Beneventano del Bosco.
Questa Piazza a Siracusa, sita nella magnifica Isola di Ortigia, fa rimanere tutti incantati.

The main square in Syracuse is Piazza Duomo which is the symbol of the Baroque reconstruction following the earthquake of 1693. The Piazza houses interesting historical and religious buildings; at first it is possible to notice, due to its majestic facade, the stupendous Duomo, dedicated to the Nativity of Mary, built around the seventh century and restored after the earthquake. It was built on ancient Greek finds and in particular on a temple, built in honor of the goddess Athens, dating back to the 5th century a.C.
Next to the Duomo, stands the Palazzo Senatorio, or also called Palazzo Vermexio, seat of the Town Hall, and built by Andrea Vermexio between 1629 and 1633. On the right of the Cathedral, instead, rises the Palazzo Vescovile and then the Monastro and the Church of Santa Lucia.
The other part of the Piazza hosts private residences, such as Palazzo Gaetani and Palazzo Beneventano del Bosco.
This Piazza in Syracuse, located in the magnificent Island of Ortigia, makes everyone remain enchanted.

A view of the Lago Maggiore in Italy from the Fishermen Island, this time I opted for a long exposition with the wonderful Irix 15mm and a ND1000 filter. Love the "smoke on the water" effect which contrasts with the red leaves on the rock.

Mi primera fotografía nocturna.
Estuve un par de horas tomando fotos de los roques con distintas focales y diferentes ángulos, aprovechando el atardecer y casi sin darme cuenta ya era de noche, por lo que decidí aventurarme y aprovechar el momento para probar una fotografía nocturna. Disfruté como un enano al ver en la pantalla de mi cámara que algo iba saliendo.
Si quieres comentar, dar consejo o hacer una crítica constructiva, hazlo sin problema, estoy aquí para aprender y cualquier comentario, bueno o malo será parte del aprendizaje.

My first night photograph.
I spent a couple of hours taking pictures of the rocks with different focal points and different angles, taking advantage of the sunset and almost without realizing it was already night, so I decided to venture and take the time to try a night photography. I enjoyed myself as a dwarf when I saw on the screen of my camera that something was coming out.
If you want to comment, give advice or make a constructive criticism, do it without problem, I am here to learn and any comment, good or bad will be part of the learning.
