At the beginning of this month I had the honor and privilege to photograph the wedding of Mira and Hank. Congrats Mira! Congrats Hank!
I am so thankful to Ratna-di, Mira’s mom for putting her trust on me for such a memorable day. This shot is one of my most favorites out of the 700+ shots I took. Mira is a very pretty girl. In this photo she shows her beauty with the full glamour of a film star!

Long-eared Owls are lanky owls that often seem to wear a surprised expression thanks to long ear tufts that typically point straight up like exclamation marks. These nocturnal hunters roost in dense foliage, where their camouflage makes them hard to find, and forage over grasslands for small mammals. Long-eared Owls are nimble flyers, with hearing so acute they can snatch prey in complete darkness. In spring and summer, listen for their low, breathy hoots and strange barking calls in the night.

A stunning combination of natural faceted Lapis Lazuli rondelles and natural faceted and polished Electric Blue apatite rondelles streams down to a pair of superb natural AAA Abalone oak leaf carvings.
The shells exhibit a dominant indigo blue and green color with some patches of pink and purple as well and a beautiful iridescence. The breathtaking beauties were delicately carved in deep relief by master-craftsmen.
Although large at 41mm x 26mm the carvings are feather light, allowing the earrings to sway effortlessly from a pair of beautiful Iolite colored stud posts.
The Saphir des Mer earrings measure 2.75" from the post of the studs down to the tip of the carvings.
These are one of the most popular pairs of earring I have sold. Such a beautiful blonde color -Made with synthetic (man made) quality peacock feathers- animal cruelty free and vegan friendly;-)
Lightweight and feminine, these intricate leaf shaped lace appliques dangle from ball-end ear wires. The earrings shown in this listing are white but only serve as an example--they may be dyed to the color of your choosing and are made to order (see below for details). They may, of course, be left white if desired.
These leaf lace appliques measure just under 1¾" long and 1" wide. Since the leaf shapes are not identical, the ear wires have been attached so that they are mirror images of each other. (I can switch them around so they both face the same way if you prefer.) They are heat set to protect the dye color, and a special fabric paint medium is applied to give the lace a little bit of stability and prevent fraying.

Oval base beads covered in tiny seed beads dangle from elegant, elongated kidney earwires.
I started with translucent frosted white acrylic beads in an onion or saucer shape, I covered them with a striped pattern of orange, bronze, metallic green and sky blue beads using an off loom beadweaving technique called peyote stitch. Each bead is secured within the woven pattern with multiple passes of nymo thread, a sturdy, multifilament nylon thread widely used by bead artists. Each tiny size 15 and 11 bead was woven in by hand. The little flying saucer shaped beaded beads dangle from long elegant silver plated kidney wires. All the metal components in these earrings are silver plated and the earrings are lightweight for their size and length.
• Dimensions - overall length is 2.375 inches (6.03 cm( from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the beaded bead. The widest diameter of the beaded bead is .75 inches (1.9 cm).
• These earrings were created by hand and are one of a kind

Today I was feeling very inspired by massive earrings, Indian gold and the comfort of a long skirt so this is what I ended up wearing. Just to follow up from my previous post I wanted to let you all know that these earrings are brought forth from Satan and are the very demons of earlobe pain and headache inducement. But I think they are really pretty and I will definately wear them again. Perhaps not for 8 hours at work though. They are now tucked safely in the bottom of my bag where they will stay until my ears heal and my brain erases the memory of the blood pumping around my ears.
