Another archive dip, this one a bit closer to home. Funnily enough, I don't miss commuting.

On the River Thames, south side of London Bridge.

a few buildings near the Thames forming attractive lines caught my eye.

John S. Bonnington Partnership designed the No. 1 London Bridge building on the south side of the London Bridge in London.

It has a 13 story tower with another 10 story section clad in pink granite and stainless steel.

The distinctive front of the building is cut out of the corner with a skylight cut out at the top. The office complex was completed in 1986.

My view as I cycled over London Bridge this morning

26/31 October Photo a Day - London Bridge! The river in London is amazing at night, lots of lit up bridges and stunning scenes with the night lights. I always struggle for a few days during the October Challenge and then for some reason suddenly remember that I work in London and the possibilities are endless. Hence, something I have sot before but from a different angle, side of the river and in a new style on a long exposure.

London Bridge and The City from the south bank.

This was taken a few weeks back when I was permitted to travel up.

On an otherwise grey day in London, A slither of light glows beneath the heavy cloud bathing the south bank of the Thames in warm autumnal light

...mentre attraversavo London Bridge, un giorno senza sole, vidi una donna pianger d'amore, piangeva per il suo Geordie...

This is one of the walkways to the recently refurbished London Bridge station. It's gone from being a dismal looking station to all shiny and new, and not before time. With any luck they'll do the same to Euston, too.

Now originally i was going to do a 365 project for many reasons, so i could concentrate on doing some arty, meaningfull, heavily post processed images aswell as documenting where i go all the time, because it would force me to think of new ideas every day, because a girl i hold in high reguard and love her selfies said i should :D but for the first 2 weeks i didnt spend a night in my own bed, drove to every corner of the country and back (twice, in some cases) then landed myself a full time job!

To say i have no time to post everyday would be an understatement!

But heres a sneaky one ;)

On 15 December 1984, 33206 has run round at London Bridge on the empty newspaper vans from Tonbridge, which will then go to New Cross Gate sidings. Newspaper traffic was once very heavy at this station.

Looking towards Tower Bridge from London Bridge and the embankment!

The. Most wonderful sunrise with tower bridge silhouetted against a blood red sky. Taken from London Bridge.
