is a part of the artist's research project META_SIGNAL SONAR SYSTEM
(VISUALISATION OF UNIVERSAL SOUND) *
6th SENSE is an audio-visual interactive collage combined with Augmented Reality mobile application and handmade analogue drawing-collages. The art project 6th SENSE gives a unique artistic experience where every user has the opportunity to experience not only mixed visuals in real time, but also interact or manipulate with sounds in real time. The whole project passes through many layers of creation and research. The project 6th SENSE consists of 10 artworks divided into three (3) series: gold silver and black-gold analogue drawing-collages. Every series has different animated visual patterns and different possibilities of audio transformation. An animated coded visual gives an impression of entity or energy from the real-world object – the analogue artwork.
With this project I test out modern communication space and in doing so provoke you to dive deeper into our own sense of togetherness and find a blissful serenity of universal unity. The Art project 6th SENSE, conceptually and technically is a first art project of that kind in Croatia.

O texto “Significação e sinificação” de Dotremont conta a história da descoberta do valor plástico da escrita vista em transparência. Desta revelação viria a fórmula, doze anos depois, do logograma.
Dotremont descobre o lado oculto de sua escrita olhando para linhas manuscritas que, viradas de cabeça para baixo e verticalmente, parecem para ele como escrita Cursiva chinesa: “Sem saber, já que tinha desenhado horizontalmente, eu tinha “escrito” uma frase muito misteriosa, onde dominou Caracteres chineses, talvez mongóis, Árabes também. »
Na mesma sala, as obras dialogam: Enquanto a revista surrealista Les Deux Sœurs, criada por Dotremont, responde ao livro Os Dois Irmãos de Balzac; A arte de colocar gravata do Barão Émile de l’Empésé (impressa por Balzac) é colocado ao lado de Knotted Like a Tie, um poema de Dotremont…

Christian Dotremont, (12 December 1922 – 20 August 1979), was a Belgian painter and poet who was born in Tervuren, Belgium. He was a founding member of the Revolutionary Surrealist Group (1946) and he also founded Cobra together with Danish artist Asger Jorn. He later became well known for his painted poems (French: Peinture mots), which he called logograms.
Chinese calligraphy traced on the floor tiles of the city's central square by means of a stroke of water released by a large brush embedded in the tip of a long stick. Zhangye-Gansu province-China.
Christian Dotremont e Pierre Alechinsky "j'ecris pour voir"
Christian Dotremont, nascido em 12 de dezembro de 1922 em Tervuren, Bélgica, e falecido em 20 de agosto de 1979 em Buizingen, é um pintor e poeta belga, famoso por seus logogramas. Nascido em uma família de estudiosos católicos, ele foi criado pelos jesuítas enquanto sua mãe publicava na Editions Degrelle.
Seus logogramas, através dos quais a poesia é improvisada por meio da criação gráfica, são verdadeiros poemas para se olhar. Sua fonte de inspiração é a caligrafia.
Christian Dotremont sugere “ver” a escrita em vez de lê-la. Esta também é uma escrita livre que expressa “seu grito” e/ou “seu canto” e, em todos os casos, ele oferece seu texto de forma clara sob o logograma.
Embora Christian Dotremont seja conhecido por suas pinturas, "Groin des yeux groin du coeur" (que se traduz em "Dobra dos olhos dobra do do coração") é de fato um desenho feito em nanquim (também conhecido como nanquim).
É um excelente exemplo de seus "logogramas", que eram desenhos caligráficos que misturavam texto e imagem. Ele frequentemente trabalhava com nanquim no papel, criando essas obras espontâneas e expressivas.

Angustiado pela perda de inspiração e reivindicando o estatuto de artista então negado aos romancistas, Balzac questionou longamente os mecanismos de criação.
Ele oferece uma definição inédita do criador: o artista é um visionário, capaz de mudar a face das coisas, mas a visão é apenas “a ocasião do gênio”, e deve ser seguida de um trabalho constante para fixar a ideia na pedra, na tela ou no papel.
A mão torna-se “de certa forma a própria ação”, ela “oferece um fenômeno inexplicável que somos tentados a chamar de encarnação do pensamento” (Fisiologia do casamento).
Esta ligação entre pensamento criativo e gesto, explorada em diferentes formas gráficas por Balzac, Victor Hugo ou Théophile Bra, volta a ser uma questão essencial para vários membros do grupo CoBrA.
As numerosas referências a Balzac traem esta proximidade de investigação, que encontra a sua mais bela expressão nos logogramas de Christian Dotremont. Num espírito lúdico, até de segundo grau, a exposição evoca o interesse dos artistas do CoBrA por Balzac e sublinha a semelhança das questões levantadas, nos séculos XIX e XX, pela relação entre a escrita e o pensamento literário.

6th SENSE is an audio-visual interactive collage combined with Augmented Reality mobile application and handmade analogue drawing-collages. The art project 6th SENSE gives a unique artistic experience where every user has the opportunity to experience not only mixed visuals in real time, but also interact or manipulate with sounds in real time. The whole project passes through many layers of creation and research. The project 6th SENSE consists of 10 artworks divided into three (3) series: gold silver and black-gold analogue drawing-collages. Every series has different animated visual patterns and different possibilities of audio transformation. An animated coded visual gives an impression of entity or energy from the real-world object – the analogue artwork.
With this project I test out modern communication space and in doing so provoke you to dive deeper into our own sense of togetherness and find a blissful serenity of universal unity. The Art project 6th SENSE, conceptually and technically is a first art project of that kind in Croatia.
