The beginning of the never ending stages of a home studio.

This is what my recording studio looks like most of time. Not too clean and organized but not too cluttery... just right!

Not double exposure.. but Nell explaining something on the Logic Pro screen.

This is such a wonderful invention. The Brian Moore iGuitar USB. It's a guitar with a USB connector on it, just right for recording with on GarageBand, Logic Pro and more.

Professor Dolby proudly presents his new book, "The Speed of Sound", publised by Macmillan.

Thomas Dolby on stage during Intervention 7, a sci fi event in Rockville, Maryland

In the 80's He blinded us with science!... or at least he created a megahit that helped launch MTV. He is now a Professor at Baltimore's prestigious Johns Hopkins University. Dolby is a composer, writer, film director, inventor, game designer, and raconteur.

His new book is out in October 2016. These are a few shots from a rare public appearance at Rockville's Intervention 7 at the Hilton, that included live performance, video and some mind blowing stories. I'm no fan boy, but this gent is a renaissance man if ever there was.

Here's an example of why s/w shouldn't require a dongle. Arghh....but I own it and the dongle is plugged in!!

"...to solve latency you will need: 1) a large hammer, 2) a fire extinguisher, 3) a new mac..."
