Day 22 #COVID19 #lockdownuk This afternoon I managed to take some photos of the beautiful Fritillaria flower in our garden. Between 1914/1915 Charles Rennie Mackintosh created a series of wonderful flower watercolours including Fritillaria while staying in Walberswick.

Day 19 #COVID19 #lockdownuk The Necropolis cemetery in Glasgow which was modelled on Père-Lachaise in Paris, has long been a popular spot for city dwellers seeking a moment of tranquillity and reflection.

Decent law abiding folk head to the countryside for a well earned day out. The Lockdown melts away as the public show their reaction to tory spin doctor scummings breaking the lock down law and not being punished . One law for the arrogant unelected elites . Well the public just said up yours . My kids could not attend my dads funeral north of Durham whilst scummings visits the bluebell woods and plays Dancing Queen to goad his dads neighbour. . Shame on you Boris you just lost the public and for what .

All non-essential contact and travel is at an end, COVID 19 has made its way to the UK. Stephanie, 31, missed her family and friends, a feeling we can all sympathise with, she was sick and tired of looking at the same four walls everyday. To keep her mind occupied, she would take walks and distract herself with fidget toys. Her local disability group unfortunately had to make the decision of closing, socialising became more difficult for all.

Reading, UK. In lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I took a short cycle through its empty streets, capturing some eerie scenes of places usually bustling with cars and pedestrians.
The Metro (23.03.2020): This is NOT a game!
In response to the selfishness and ignorance of people refusing to stay inside and social distance, The Metro warned people that the cases were rising, as were the death tolls. They were risking not only themselves but other people, families, and the higher risked. Faith, 15, wanting to be productive, glued jigsaws together and started a loom band snake which she still adds to, it currently sits at 56ft long.

Daily Express (26.03.2020): 504,303 join people's army of kindness.
Most people associate Lockdown as all bad, however it also brought together a sense of community and presented good news in bad circumstances. Max, 14, played video games to cope during the Lockdowns and to distract himself from the horror of what was truly going on. As the transition to online learning inevitably came, he struggled keeping up with his school work, the return to school did not help and has had lasting effects with his motivations moving forward.

The Guardian (25.03.2020): Doctors and nurses in threat to quit over safety.
As the cases and death toll continues to rise, the NHS started to threaten resigning their jobs due to safety reasons. More contaminated people were entering the hospitals and wards were over capacity.
Andy, 32, struggled as a tutor as his student's motivations lowered; as all of their hopes, dreams and passions in the creative industry were put on pause, he found it heart-wrenching to watch as their mindsets changed throughout Lockdown.
