An Autumnal scene at Loch Ard. A little cloudy and colourless in the sky but the lovely tones in the trees and bushes and that soft focus reflection makes it worth while.

Loch Tummel is a long, narrow loch, 7 km north west of Pitlochry in the council area of Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It is fed and drained by the River Tummel, which flows into the River Tay about 13 km south-east of the Clunie Dam at the loch's eastern end.

Loch Lomond
...With an old oak tree balancing act...
From Milarrochy Point, with Inchfad and Inchcruin Islands on a very cloudy, dark Thursday afternoon.
Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park,
West Central Scotland
We've done the first part of the climb and reached the beautiful Loch Etchachan, surrounded by the high Cairngorm Mountains, some of the highest peaks in the UK. The path to the left leads to Derry Cairngorm, but we're heading on up the path disappearing off to the right for the steep climb up Beinn Mheadhoin.
Quite a few parking spots on the road into Shieldaig, turn left just before and it's the start of the NC500. Arrived in the dark and zero phone signal in Shieldaig itself. Half a mile back to here and I had a full signal, Ribeye for dinner and then settled down to watch the latest episode of the Mandalorian.
Opened the van door in the morning and after a brief scramble through some trees to get to the loch side, this was the view.
Loch Tummel in Scotland is a very popular tourist destination because of the Queens View lookout, but this shot was taken from the other side of the loch, and just shows what all those visitors are missing out on.

Like hole Ness this lake also has his own monster called muc-sheilch. Hole Maree is looked as one of the nicest lakes of highlands in Scotland. On account of the seclusion rules there little tourism.

This was taken on the edge of Loch Lomond in Scotland, it was a real challenge for a couple of reasons, firstly it was pouring down with rain so trying to hold an umbrella whilst taking nd filters in and out required more hands than I actually have and secondly, MIDGES!!! No hand free to swipe them away and having to stand still with the umbrella over the camera for long exposures, pure torture!!!!
