An abandonedish building near the Goodwill Outlet. The doors are a nice deep blue and the bits you're not supposed to accidentally run a semi into are a nice bright yellow and that color combination appeals to me.

Went to see Frozen II with Courtney afterwards. It was okay. Not as good as Frozen. Jenny Nicholson has a really good video which pretty much aligns with my thoughts on the movie but in a way that's a lot more coherent and well-thought-out than they were before I watched her video and aligned to them.

An abandoned Hayes railroad bumping post (bumper) in the Third Ward neighborhood in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At one time, the Chicago and North Western served this industrial spur. This is now a Glorioso's food warehouse at 521 East Corcoran Street, between Jefferson and Jackson. Up until about 10 or 15 years ago, Union Pacific still served a few last customers in the Third Ward, but the swing bridge to access the Third Ward is now locked in a permanent open position and the approach track has been torn up, so freight trains will likely never roll through the Third Ward again (though The Hop streetcar now serves the north end of the 3rd Ward).

The Soo Falls Brewing Company was created in 1900 by Andrew J. Short and Casimir Kocat in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, with a production capacity of 15,000 barrels. In 1911, Soo Falls was purchased by J.J. Doran of the Sudbury Brewing and Malting Company (established 1907). Doran’s group would also purchase the Kakabeka Falls Brewing Company in 1913 (established 1906 at Fort William, Ontario); in 1919, Doran’s Brewery was built in Timmins Ontario; and in 1948, the Doran’s group bought the Port Arthur Beverage Company (established 1876, Port Arthur, Ontario). Each brewery operated under their own name until 1960, when the operations were reorganized under the name of Dorans Northern Ontario Breweries. Subsequent ownership changes would result in the creation of Northern Breweries Limited in 1977- - -the first employee owned brewing company. In 2004, the company was sold to an investment firm. In 2006 Northern Breweries went bankrupt: the Soo Falls site has remained idle since then. In 2011, the site was sold for tax arrears, with plans to raze the buildings and develop a office/medical/condominium complex. In February 2013, a pair of arsonists set fire to the Northern Breweries office.

A perfect assemblage of garbage, rust, neglect, ugliness, rotting, line, shape, and color. Plus amidst all the decay, graffiti that reads "Just Smile" on one of the blue doors. I had to photograph it.

(I think that's what the tags say) An empty chair and rubbish at a small loading dock. (020a)

Found one last roll of Fujicolor NPZ 800 in the fridge at work. Thought it would be fun to give it a test in some low light night scenes and some bright mid day scenes to see how it would perform. Conclusion is that this shit is great! I love the grain, it's great ability for hand held night scenes and the natural color! Some photos even look painted rather then a photo due to the grain and it's a great effect! Hope I can find some more of this film for the future!
