I have two sick boys at home and I am so tired I almost didn't do a LO today...but we're so close to the end I decided to push on. I'm glad I did, but NOW I'm off to bed!
this is a working ship - the crew will be making deliveries as we wander down Alberni Inlet. We will deliver supplies, furniture, appliances, slats of beer, the day's newspapers and other sundries to post offices, general stores, fishing camps, logging camps and private homes along the way.
Passengers sit and watch and enjoy the view - the crew are professional, focused, and interact in a friendly manner with us passengers when they are not loading up or unloading.
I tried another quick page today - and they certainly are getting quicker. This was downloaded from browniescraps.blogspot via Scrapping with the IKEA goddess.

With both platforms closed, Metra is forced to load at a tiny spot East of the station.
My family has been taking photos with important newspaper headlines since I was a little girl (the first one was "Nixon Resigns" back in '74). I've started doing the same thing with my family and I try to record a few thoughts about the event as well.
