A 20 foot steel sword towers beside Llyn Padarn a Snowdonia lake, modelled on the type of sword used by the Princes of Gwynedd.

The sword at Llanberis is to raise awareness among visitors and local people of the history of Gwynedd and of Wales as a nation.

She later moved to Devon before finally coming to North Wales in 1999 where, now named 'Seren yr Wyddfa / Snowdon Star', she gives pleasure cruises on Llyn Padarn / Llanberis Lake.

 

She is powered by a Ford D series 80hp diesel engine.
