I thought as how it was Saturday morning down town, no one would notice me laying on the sidewalk as I tried to get this photo. I was wrong. There was laughter.

Come on. Look at me.

Foto tomada en el Jardín Canario, Gran Canaria

It was great to see so many lizards at once.

Maybe wondering why I was contorting myself to get an angle for a shot.

Every time I see a Sceloporus occidentalis, I ask it to give me a good look at its blue underside. Most ignore me and continue sunning. However, this morning, after watching this guy run around the other side of a tree stump, I made my request, slowly came around to where he was and wouldn't you know it, he raised up and gave me a great shot of his gorgeous blue underside. Thanks, dude 8v) Photo taken near the old golf course in Redmond, Oregon on Sept. 16, 2007.

On my semi secret insect hunting ground! There's lots of 2 ft x 2 ft square tarpaulin mats laying around with a label saying..reptile survey going on.

Going back too the ground several times now, it seems there's an abundant of Lizards, Snakes, and Slowworms.

Had a bit of a test of wills with this little Lizard, it was sunning itself on one of the mats and would scamper back into the long grass each time I got near.

Not sure laying in the long wet grass, with bits of dead rabbit, and poo, was worth it! ;-)
