I made a twitch livestream while I did it. Thank goodness no one was watching. My echo dot suddenly started giving me the definition of promiscuous for no reason at all. It had never done that kind of random talking before and in the middle of a livestream? Geez. But I am just playing with livestreaming recently and have no set schedule so luckily had no viewers for that one.
I stream under MaryTamashiro which is another alt of mine that I haven't used in forever. makes me feel like I should pull her out of the closet. I stream how I manipulate my SL pictures. But I don't livestream SL because Twitch has banned SL. That's really unfair. Just because we have tp problems --- our bodies show up before our clothes do. Captain James T Kirk never had that problem when Scotty beamed him anywhere.... hmmm ... Kirk arriving without his clothes...I don't see the problem. The Lindens should hire Scotty. He'd have the tp fixed in a jiffy so bodies and clothes arrived simultaneously. Ah well. I hate that so many people are prejudiced against SL for no real good reason.
I wish there was a way we could get Twitch to undo the ban because SL is soooo cool and I love it. did you know there has been several scientific studies on Second Life? Some of them have been submitted to NIH (National Institute of Health) like this one on health-related activities in Second Life.

I got to shoot the fireworks from the roof of Greektown Casino- Hotel again this year. My main job was providing livestreaming on their Facebook. We reached over 600,000 people, so that was a success. I only got a handful pf stills of the fireworks that I liked. This is one of them.
Happy 4th of July.
“Music does a lot of things for a lot of people. It’s transporting, for sure. It can take you right back, years back, to the very moment certain things happened in your life. It’s uplifting, it’s encouraging, it’s strengthening.”

Hi there! It's been a while! Totally not going to mention the dreaded "q" and "c" word 'cos I don't want to be jinxing anything but, I will be slowly easing back to blogging/photography after an unforeseen hiatus within the next few days. Starting with this particular photo where I followed a tutorial that the amazing Kimmy Clementine graciously livestreamed on Facebook a couple of days ago. She is such a talented photographer and also a queen when it comes to shape-making so be sure to check out her store.

Took this at Big Sur a year ago but it's gone now. I loved gachas. I got this wearable biplane by Consignment ages ago. It looks so cool, don't you think?
I used it as my banner/holder on kick.com when I was experimenting with livestreaming there a year ago. I like livestreaming but it takes so much time. Honestly I'm not very good at livestreaming because I only have one monitor. I'm always late responding to chat.

I am livestreaming showing the freebies for the cardboard paperdoll avatar Cardy in the free PMR event which is ending 4/8/25. Some things I got on MP. The PMR event hud takes you to the store with the freebies. I don't know if the stores will continue to offer the freebies after the event.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh57o75sgg8
FYI: I had a problem in the livestream with echo. Don't know why it happened. It hasn't been a problem for a long time. I will try to fix it before next livestream
FYI: after the livestream YT changes the livestream url. So I will try to update this with the new url when I get it.

The PMR project associated with S&P's Cardy/Cardo free flat cardboard paperdoll type avatars is set to end after one week which is 4/8/25. Since you pick up many of these freebies at their stores, I don't know if you can pick them up for free after 4/8.
There have been flat avatars before. To me what's different about this time is Salt&Pepper pulled together a group of creators to make some stuff for their free cardboard avatar and gives away a development kit so it's become something you can build on. If the "craze" continues, you'll be able to build up a repertoire of clothing, items and backgrounds for the avatar. It's a fun look and brings back the nostalgia of playing with paperdolls when I was a kid.

.
Thinking about it - maybe not . But then again as the report on the news said , it is a special day today , Strauss was born 200 years ago and the ESA is 50 years old today . As Sky News reported --
A piece of classical music is to be played into space to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of its composer and the 50th year of the European Space Agency (ESA).
The Blue Danube, by Johann Strauss, will be beamed into the cosmos as it's performed by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra on 31 May, and livestreamed with free public screenings in Vienna, Madrid, and New York.
To avoid any technical issues, a pre-recorded version from the orchestra's rehearsal on the day before will be played out, while a live performance provides the accompaniment.
The music, which famously featured in Stanley Kubrick's 1968 movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey, will pass the moon in just 1.5 seconds.
Starting from the ESA's big antenna dish in Spain, part of the agency's deep-space network, it will pass Mars in 4.5 minutes, Jupiter in 37 minutes and go past Neptune in four hours.
If all goes to plan, NASA's Voyager 1, the world's most distant spacecraft, will be reached within 23 hours, when the signals will be more than 15 billion miles in interstellar space.
Tourism officials in Vienna, where Strauss was born in October 1825, said broadcasting "the most famous of all waltzes" into space corrects the "cosmic mistake" of his music being left out of previous interstellar broadcasts.
Strauss was overlooked almost 50 years ago, when the Voyager Golden Records were played out on gold-plated copper phonograph records installed in NASA's Voyagers 1 and 2.
The records contain sounds and images of Earth as well as 90 minutes of music. The late astronomer Carl Sagan led the committee that chose works by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and Stravinsky, along with modern and Indigenous selections.
yeah, I'm a little superstitious so I'm not going to say 13 because that's an American bad luck number or 14 because that's a Japanese bad luck number. I happen to be mixed so I've got superstitions from both sides

It hardly ever makes the headlines, but this year has also been properly catastrophic for the world of ballet and dance, and the plight is far from over. Yet today, once again, some 40 companies worldwide join in a digital celebration of their art, livestreaming segments of company class, rehearsals and interviews with dancers via YouTube and Facebook. May they soon return to the stage again!

Real Name: N/A
Gender: Male
Alignment: Villain
Powers: Glitching. Basically powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Glitching . Only difference is that he doesn't have the logic defiance application of this power.
Backstory: Glitch would first discover Rave's music in his early teenage years, with him becoming more and more obsessed as time went on. This lead to him creating his own livestreaming account, Glitchinthemainframe, where he'd talk about everyday things. It gave him an outlet to vent his frustrations. But the viewership was limited, with Rave getting all the potential viewership with her heroics, and music videos. He wants to be famous, so that she will take notice. This twisted fascination grew, to the point where he would start livestreaming himself committing crimes, in the hopes that she would come stop him. He's been able to get away from low tiered vigilantes through his glitching abilities.

Shyla the Super Gecko streams live and reads Steinbeck's “The Chrysanthemums” a Short Story by John Steinbeck
‘The Chrysanthemum’ is a story by John Steinbeck. It is a story about Elisa Allen, a woman living through pain in the 1930s, isolated from the world both physically and emotionally by virtue of her sex.
Historical critiquing the story was once said: “the story shows a strong woman held from social, personal and sexual fulfillment by the general conception/psychology of a woman’s place in a male-dominated world”.

I have an ever-growing collection of images of people taking selfies as to me it represents a culture evermore obsessed with self-image.
As I approached this woman I took a shot thinking that's what she was up too. It was only after I'd walked past that I realised she was actually filming a couple of protestors unfurling some pro-Ukrainian flags from the top of a vacant building on the opposite side of the road...... I then realised she was livestreaming the event and giving a commentary as it happened and at that point I realised how cynical I was being......

Inspiration: Lyrics to Kelly Clarkson's song: Stronger (What Doesn't Kill you)
You know the bed feels warmer
Sleeping here alone
You know I dream in color
And do the things I want
You think you got the best of me
Think you've had the last laugh
Bet you think that everything good is gone
Think you left me broken down
Think that I'd come running back
Baby you don't know me, cause you're dead wrong
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone
What doesn't kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn't mean I'm over cause you're gone
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, myself and I
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone
You heard that I was starting over with someone new
They told you I was moving on, over you
You didn't think that I'd come back
I'd come back swinging
You try to break me, but you see
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone
What doesn't kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn't mean I'm over cause you're gone
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, myself and I
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone
Thanks to you I got a new thing started
Thanks to you I'm not the broken hearted
Thanks to you I'm finally thinking about me
You know in the end the day you left was just my beginning
In the end
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone
What doesn't kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn't mean I'm over cause you're gone
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, myself and I
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stronger
Just me, myself and I
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone

There's an army on the dance floor
It's a fashion with a gun, my love
In a room without a door
A kiss is not enough in
Love my way, it's a new road
I follow where my mind goes
They'd put us on a railroad
They'd dearly make us pay
For laughing in their faces
And making it our way
There's emptiness behind their eyes
There's dust in all their hearts
They just want to steal us all
And take us all apart
But not in
Love my way, it's a new road
I follow where my mind goes
So swallow all your tears, my love
And put on your new face
You can never win or lose
If you don't run the race

"Danger in the shape
Of somethin' wild
Stranger dressed in black
She's a hungry child
No one knows who she is
Or what her name is
I don't know where she came from
Or what her game is
Hot child in the city
Runnin' wild and lookin' pretty
Hot child in the city"
You know it's officially skating party when everyone is wearing skates in the DJ Booth.

Human Spaceflight image of the week:
The focus of this image is the suspended European Columbus module being moved onto a work stand in a cleanroom at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA.
Of course, a cylindrical module of more than 10 t (without payloads) for housing laboratory equipment, storage units and three working astronauts is big, but the contrast between Columbus and the people in the image is startling. Even more so when we remember that Columbus is one of 16 similarly sized modules orbiting 400 km over our heads.
Countless teams across Europe were involved in the planning, building and assembly of the parts that make up this orbital lab. Teams of people were involved in shipping Columbus across the Atlantic, where it was carefully received by even more partners in the greatest human endeavour.
This image of Columbus was taken in the summer of 2006, shortly after the module arrived at the launch site. Teams at NASA put Columbus through its final paces to ensure it was airtight and ready for flight.
It would be another year and half before Columbus made its way to the International Space Station, in 2008. Ten remarkable years later, there is much to celebrate about this long-planned and hard-earned European contribution to the international space community.
To mark the occasion, ESA is hosting a get-together of the larger Columbus family of planners, builders, scientists, support teams and astronauts at our technical heart in the Netherlands on 7 February. The event will be livestreamed to the public, with more details coming soon.
Join us in the celebrations on Twitter by following the #Columbus10Years hashtag and stay tuned for more exciting details.

Dark Dramatic Delightful Terrific Tuesday Tampa Bay Beautiful Beach Stunning Sunset Scene - IMRAN™
Join me for a few minutes to see the stunning sunset at the end of a dramatic day of crazy cloud covers on a terrific Tuesday. This is a LOW quality upload because the iPhone 13 Pro Max recorded it in HDR (high dynamic range) but most livestreaming products do not handle HDR well. That is why you will have seen so many of my beach and sunset videos appear washed out when posted to these platforms.

We did a new thing this year at Lord of Grace; we offered a service of healing - actually two. Tonight's was in person, and had only a few people. The next will be an online version - livestreamed. With all the stress of Covid, and all the memories that the season brings up for so many people, we thought it might be good to offer a chance to meditate, pray with someone, light a candle or post a prayer on the prayer wall. Definitely doing this again. To just sit and bask in the presence of God, to be still before Christmas, and not be rattling off to-do lists in your head, was freeing and healing. To share in prayer with others, either to listen or to speak, is a special kind of healing to - and the Spirit was truly present.
