Art is driven by emotion, beauty is driven by what you see, you see what is behind the facade.
You got it in You!
✈️ : Rosa Scotia
Holding back the flood in
This skyscraper town
You gave all that sweat and blood
Now you think you're gonna drown
You can't tell that you're bigger
Than the sea that you're sinking in
And you don't know what you
Got but you got it at your fingertips
Ooh, you got it in you
Ooh, you got it in you
When the lights go out and
Leave you standing in the dark
No one ever told you
This would be so hard
I know you think your fire is burning out
But I still see you shining through
You got it in you
Not everything you hear
Should sound like the truth
'Cause nobody else's words
Can define you
Maybe you don't see it but you're
Quicker than the world can spin
You should know what you got
'Cause you got it at your fingertips

Taken on Wednesday morning as I made my way to work along the Esplanade. A scene I’ve passed many times, in better times in fact. But the thing that is surreal,is at this time in the morning on my way to work, this could actually be any one of those everyday normal days that we often take for granted. And yet they aren’t! Every day should be enjoyed and savoured,we aren’t immortal and each day could be our last. Stay safe, keep well!
I hang a light on the shore where my camp is located, this way I can go fishing in the evening and still find my way to camp.
Life can hit you with a curve ball.
You can get a sleeper.
One can hit the inside edge and keep you on your toes.
You can either hit it for 6.
Get bowled out.
Get hit in the head.
In it all, you are the only constant.
Don't get lost in the game.

Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.

The sea has no country,it belongs to all those who are listening to it, here and there where the sun is born and dies...
If you have spent anytime reading my ramblings, you probably know ...how much a moment like this blows me away. It is surreal and divine.

Shanghai residents relive their waltzing days on the Bund.
First time travellers to China may be surprised to find that the Chinese dance on the streets all the time. Early in the mornings or evenings, they gather in groups and break into their Foxtrots or Rock n' Rolls. The music is provided by their own portable cassette players hooked up to speakers. Shanghai residents have been ballroom dancing in parks for decades. But this was not always the case.
During the Cultural Revolution from 1966 to 1976, the government banned things it saw as foreign and bourgeois. Dancing was forbidden and many people got around the ban by dancing alone covertly.
Here a group of elegant ladies and men were all dressed up and twirling away. As the Tennessee Waltz floated through the air, it was indeed poignant to see a lady waltzing with her imaginary partner.
Of all the Flickr comments on this photo, perhaps the most touching was made by Jacanegra who said, "My eyes filled with tears, this is the dance of life. And at some point we all dance alone. "
Just a quick selfie for those whose asking ..yesh I'm doing very well and enjoying life in RL..Thank you so much lovelies..have a blessed week and sending positive vibes! ❤
Thinking about October being cancer month. I've decided to share some stories of friends and family. Seems like the last 2yrs have been filled with it.
This is Jon
Jon is a wonderful man. I love him like a father.
I think about 7yrs ago he was told he had prostate cancer. His option was cut it out, or cut it out. This is a big decision for any man to make.
They told him they had taken it all and things would be good. However, his followup tests showed his PSA levels continued to climb.
So, now they think it's in his bones. Did he cry about it? Did he make up stories about people hurting his feelings? Nope,,
They moved to Arizona and he bought a shinny Red Corvette. They drive it everywhere. Road trips to Montana, Washington, all over. He likes to go fast and told me he isn't worried if he gets a ticket as he won't live long enough to lose his license. He's living life one day at a time.. He's my hero.
He never talks about it, doesn't let it ruin his life. What an amazing example of a man and friend. Happy Trails Jon, see you soon..
For a cure.

Flying By A Journey Of Life, A Life Of Journey Flying By - IMRAN™ (Part 5) - (My 124th Flickr Explore!)
Before it is finally time for me to take the solo flight to meet my maker, as I wrote in Part 4 ( www.facebook.com/MyIMRAN/posts/429800292481555 ), there were solo journeys from the start of my life. I was turning 7 living in Karachi, Pakistan, in 1969. That was the year humans landed on the moon, as I had watched on a Germann AEG Telefunken black and white TV in our home live via satellite in Karachi.
I had gone there to live with my amazing maternal grandmother for the sake of better schools than were found in towns where my late father, a civil engineer, would get posted with my mom early in his career. It would’ve been my first birthday away from my parents. School had just ended for summer break when my dad called my grandmother and aunts. He wanted to give me more than one of the greatest gifts.
He asked them to put me on a Pakistan International Airlines flight to Lahore… as an unaccompanied child! I would become the first person in my family to travel by air - and that too as a child alone!
Everyone was scared and worried. They tried to convince him that it was beyond daring and dangerous. My dad’s words, “He’ll be fine!” have rung true for the half century since then. And I’m so glad he did and said that.
To this day I recall being handed over to the PIA stewardess, who then took me to what would become a lifelong habit & need - a window seat in the front. I even kept the circular bright tag that was pinned to my coat lapel that day. “Unaccompanied Child” it said.
But even more than 50 years after that first flight, even after having loved my HappilySingle™ but incredibly-loved solo life, even decades after losing my beloved mother and father, at no moment do I ever feel alone. I always feel, and know, and savor feeling I am always that little boy with my doting parents always by my side.
That is the love and knowledge I will live with -- until the day I am buried by their side, and God willing fly to heaven, an unaccompanied child on his final flight to stand next to his parents for all eternity. Thank you Abu, Ami, and Almighty Allah for everything.
