Ivanhoe was such a beautiful little cat and very loving too. We had high hopes for him, so getting over this loss took a long time. Please visit his album too.

… says, Little Billy! ; 0) Last year I put the decorations away in a hurry. This year I decided to be more organised and sort them out properly in boxes and these festive zip-up bags, but Little Billy had other ideas! : 0))

YOU LIGHT UP MY LIFE – LeANN RIMES
Simplicity
live simply
inhale breath deeply
hold fast to your beliefs
exhale; breathe slowly
slow down the palpitations
find the truest rhythm of your heart
muffle your innermost screams
quieten your mind
feel at one with your surroundings
open eyes wide
really see past all the fanfare
that deafens you and blinds you to the simple truth
clear the space
smudge and burn
erase the painful memories
store the precious ones within your heart
let your soul rejoice in what is now
a little cat who found himself a home
who rescued you and made you whole
this moment is complete within itself
the brokeness you felt before he came
dims and melds with fleeting shadows
dissipates like wisps of smoke
the light shines brighter now that he is here
Little Billy bless him for he is ma joie de vivre

Finally, after 14 long weeks, our little cat moved in with us. I wanted to leave him with his mother and siblings as long as possible, so that he would learn everything necessary to survive as a cat in his life. Sometimes he is still quite shy, but I give him the time he needs to get used to us and his new home and expect a life full of playmice, cat litter under my feet, a full-haired sofa and lots of fun.
The chipmunks like the little cat planter so much that when I went to lunch with my aunt I went to Joanns Fabric and bought the dog planter too, there was a lot of squabbling over them and it took a while for two to actually get on them at the same time! I don't know who is having more fun, them or me!
I came across a picture of this thingy in the depth of the internet and thought, it would make for a perfect Febrover.
Being so tiny there's no slack at all in the tracks. The wheels do turn, but the crawler doesn't roll.

What I like about Rena is how smart and how odd she is. For Example: she doesn't meow, doesn't purr or knead, doesn't like being up high and sleeps on the floor, has never knocked anything over, doesn't eat any people food, doesn't care for boxes. She lets me sleep as long as I want without waking me, snuggles when she wants and never has to be told anything twice. She seems like a wild little visitor who has captured our hearts.
She loves posing for the camera which we know Benni Girl taught her.
Schrodinger's cat is a famous theoretical thought experiment in quantum physics
If even remotely interested......
There's something called The Copenhagen Interpretation that posits that "things" at the subatomic level don't have any determined properties, only possibilities. A particle can be in two places at the same time, the atom can be in both an excited and unexcited state at the same time, and a photon can be both a particle and a wave.
What determines what we see is our measurement and observation,
Then all the probabilities collapse into one, the one being observed.
Schrodinger wasn't a fan of that theory, so he devised a thought experiment to show how absurd it would be to apply to the gross world of stuff.
He said imagine we put a cat in a box. Also in the box is a radioactive particle which might, or might not begin to decay and emit radiation. If it does, there's a gieger counter which will trigger the release of a noxious gas that will kill the cat.
Then we put a lid on the box.
But until someone opens the box, the cat is both alive and dead.
That's hugely oversimplified, but it's the layman's gist.
This little cat was sitting under a curb on a recessed sewer grate.
So,, is it coming or going or both?
I'm happy to say it was alive. ;-))
