for a HBW!
On the two days I visited the fields of Castelluccio di Norcia, a constant wind swayed the delicate flowers, which made difficult a sharp photo.
It was remembering that day and the charming (and at the same time terrible) movement of flowers when came to my mind a song of the seventies, inspiration for the title of these photos.

Sure a little bit of Heaven fell from out the sky one day
and it nestled in the ocean in a place so far away.

it's the only place you'll find them no matter where you go.
Then they darted it with silver just to make the lakes look grand
and when they had it finsihed sure they called it Ireland.

Another (origami) tessellation study in finding (ir)regular hexagons, matching together. This time in the middle and the first circle using the big regular hexagon, which I changed a little bit, so they look like stars. And then folded the triangle-like hexagon ( which I like) and found his compagnon ;-) There are so many possibilities......!
Again, if you use paper that is thick, it becomes more 3D rather than staying flat ;-).
I'm probably not the first one who discovers this, but I found it independently.
This is how the backlit back-side of 'Tessellation T-est 2' looks like, I flatted it.
