Lithuanian Soldiers training for deployment to Afghanistan with a Lithuanian-led PRT 15 in Ghor province – The Soldiers from the Grand Duchess Birute Motorised Infantry Battalion During the week of strenuous exercise soldiers conducted a variety of tasks performed military patrols, helicopter flights, camp security, communication with local people, building searches and other tasks.
PRT-15 is based on the shift of the Grand Duchess Birute Motorised Infantry Battalion, the mission in Afghanistan will begin over the period of 6-10 March 2012

Lithuanian-led Ghor Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT-14) soldiers patrol the air in the Ghor province of Sar Jangal Lalva district center. Patrolling was conducted by Soldiers from PRT-14
The Patrol was to assess the security situation and a number of PRT projects in this area, along with meeting local representatives and residents of the district to discuss issues of concern.

Lithuanian Army Reconnaissance Scouts from Army intelligence units took part in the tactical field exercise called "Pathfinder – 2012”
The exercise involved more than 200 scouts from different military units and got the chance to train together to perform specific intelligence tasks, improve interoperability and help develop the necessary skills of a Reconnaissance Scout. The exercise is organized by the Land Forces and Mechanised Infantry Brigade "Iron Wolf" 28th to 31st May 2012

Bizarre, beautiful and bewitching, Lithuania's capital seduces visitors with its astonishing Old Town charm. Lithuanian PRT-13 preparing for Afghanistan
Lithuanian of PRT-13 – More than 300 Soldiers took part in the training exercise "PRT-13 Challenge’’ at the Rudy Kazlu Ground (Marijampole region) in preparation for their up-coming deployment to Afghanistan's Ghor province as part of Lithuania’s 13th Rotations of Troops to Afghanistan.
