WONDERFUL FACTS - The Wild Water Buffalo (Bubalus arnee) - also called Asian Buffalo, Asiatic Buffalo and Wild Asian Buffalo.
Is a large bovine native to the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
It has been listed as Endangered in the IUCN Red List since 1986, as the remaining population totals less than 4,000.
A population decline of at least 50% over the last three generations (24–30 years) is projected to continue.
The global population has been estimated at 3,400 individuals, of which 3,100 (91%) live in India, mostly in Assam.
The wild water buffalo is the probable ancestor of the domestic water buffalo

Bromley-by-Bow, East London. Purportedly the largest surviving tidal mill in the world. The clock dates from 1753 and the mill was rebuilt around it in 1817. Grade I listed.
St Andrew's Church in Winterborne Tomson, Dorset, England, was built in the 12th century. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is a redundant church in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. It was declared redundant on 1 June 1972, and was vested in the Trust on 26 March 1974.
The small flint and stone Norman Anglican Church of St Andrew has an apse at the east end and a barrel vault roof which curves around it. The roof was replaced and windows inserted in the 16th century. The oak door is heavily studded. The interior has limewashed walls, a 15th-century font and flag stone floor, along with early 18th-century oak fittings. The eighteenth century oak pews, the pulpit, screen, communion rails and matching table with barley sugar turned legs, and other woodwork were provided by William Wake, Archbishop of Canterbury, who had been raised in the village of Shapwick and whose family lived locally. The west end has a late medieval gallery with a panelled front which was probably originally a rood screen. The roof is topped by a small weatherboard belfry which resembles a dovecote.
By the early 20th century, the church had fallen into disrepair and was being used as an animal shelter by a local farmer. Repairs were paid for by the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings who sold a collection of Thomas Hardy’s manuscripts to raise the funding. The work was supervised by A. R. Powys who also oversaw the work at the Old St Cuthbert's Church, Oborne
I decided to go down to Lister Park in Bradford to have a wander and see if there were any autumn colours left. Took a walk around the lake and was nice to see not only some colours but the sun catching them nicely. So i shot this as a multishot panorama and stitched together

The second item on my bucket list - a bucket of bolts. According to www.urbandictionary.com, a bucket of bolts is a machine that is old, run-down, or worn out. I think this old truck qualifies!
I got lucky with the horse in the background too. He decided to cross the entire field to get into the photo. Have a great weekend everyone!
These Grade II-listed houses are at Cotehele Quay, on the side of the River Tamar, which forms the border between Cornwall and Devon. The Quay is part of the Cotehele estate, which belongs to the National Trust. I would imagine the houses were originally built for managers or senior staff members working at the quay which would once have had an important role in moving various goods and produce to and from Plymouth via the River Tamar.
According to British Listed Buildings the three houses date originally from the late 1600s, with later additions and
alterations, including a cottage addition to the right (out of sight behind the modern garage) of probably the 18th century, with the white house at the end on the left dating from around 1840. Its entrance is at the side. The middle house, whose door and two dormer windows we can see, probably dates from the late 17th century.
Bare metal bodywork is always a winner in my book, and this 1958 Lister Chevrolet Knobbly is right up there in my eyes. Another low down point of view shot along the flank, highlighting those beautiful curves.

Nothing special but still wanted to post something anyway. Thanks for my supporters and those loyal Flickr followers. I do not tell you guys enough thank you, so Happy New Years to you. See you guys in 2023. Yes we made it another year pat yourselves on the back.
It's not on the top of many photographer's list, but the way this pheasant's feathers shimmered in the sunlight made me wonder why it's not. I often wonder how much a desire to capture more sought-after species in our viewfinders blinds us to the glamour that we can reach without going to great lengths.
Things to do after the second vaccine. Not much change during this pandemic, perhaps.

Barden Bridge is a three-arched humpbacked bridge across the River Wharfe north of Bolton Abbey on the eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales.
On the north side of the east end of the bridge is an inscription reading 'this bridge was repayred at the charge of the whole West riding 1676'.
The date refers to the fact that the original 1659 bridge was swept away in a flood in 1673 and had to be rebuilt. The parapets had to be renewed in 1856 and again in 1956 after flood damage.
The bridge is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and is a Grade II Listed Building.
Sea lions are pinnipeds characterized by external ear flaps, long foreflippers, the ability to walk on all fours, short, thick hair, and a big chest and belly. Together with the fur seals, they comprise the family Otariidae, eared seals, which contains six extant and one extinct species (the Japanese sea lion) in five genera. Their range extends from the subarctic to tropical waters of the global ocean in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, with the notable exception of the northern Atlantic Ocean. They have an average lifespan of 20–30 years. A male California sea lion weighs on average about 300 kg (660 lb) and is about 2.4 m (8 ft) long, while the female sea lion weighs 100 kg (220 lb) and is 1.8 m (6 ft) long. The largest sea lion is Steller's sea lion, which can weigh 1,000 kg (2,200 lb) and grow to a length of 3.0 m (10 ft). Sea lions consume large quantities of food at a time and are known to eat about 5–8% of their body weight (about 6.8–15.9 kg (15–35 lb)) at a single feeding. Sea lions can move around 16 knots (30 km/h; 18 mph) in water and at their fastest they can reach a speed of about 30 knots (56 km/h; 35 mph). Three species, the Australian sea lion, the Galápagos sea lion and the New Zealand sea lion, are listed as endangered. 14674
