I wanted to experiment how far I could get with the design of a Computer case, from the standard that people picture in their mind when you talk about a PC, a boxy shape.
Even though it is watercooled, it is also less than 5 litres, and weighs about 2 Kgs.
I didn't paint it because I wanted to reach a point in which it looked good that way.
The black Petg of the case is Recycled Pet
Right now It is my main PC, it works for everything and the specs allow for it, from 3D editing on Blender and Fusion 360 to playing at 1080p.

The Mig.3 did not fare well against the more advanced Messerschmitt Bf.109s esp. with the Luftwaffe's better trained pilots, but I've always loved the cool 1930s feel of their lines, the long nose, short tail proportions, they're like a sleeker & more refined (stylistically) P-40 with Gee-Bee Racer proportion & that Hot Rod feel.
Taken 30 years ago today , saved for many months to be able to buy this brand new on August 1st 1986 .I t was the world's first 16-valve liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder motorcycle engine and the first stock road bike to exceed 150 mph and a 0 - 60 mph of 3 seconds .
Early build shot of the rear of the rig. Of note here are the chrome flex cable sheaths which were clipped with transparent cable clips around the corners of the box to allow as much stealthing as possible in a clear case. Also showing the guts of the Laing D4 pump before the chrome front was fitted. This was the early version D4 before the inclusion of the 5 position speed switch mounted on the rear of the pump. The pump's speed was eventually regulated at will by means of a rotary control mounted to the case side. The Polarflow pump face and the pump itself used the actual case side as the compression for the o-rings that sealed the pump, it worked well and didn't once leak, something that surprised my greatly.
On the four base corners of the rig I mounted a set of acoustic 'bullet shape' speaker feet. These acted in much the same way as their intended use by stopping vibration being transferred to the table and causing the unit to hum. They also added a really nice visual touch to a set of feet.
You can see from this shot that space was now becoming a premium commodity and I still had no drives fitted yet!

Shown here is the Motorhead 'Warpig which is the figurehead for the rig.
This is actually a belt buckle with the belt fittings dremelled off and replaced with 2x4mm screws and fixed to the front air intake grille which was designed to resemble a speaker.. Motorhead>speaker>... no, not everyone got it.
The eyes of the buckle were red glass and in keeping with the rest of the project was of course modded out with 2 red LED's which lit them up a treat.
