Gents — You are almost at your New York-New York Hotel & Casino destination, but do you see that discount liquor store over there across the street from Mandalay Bay? If you wanted to, you could ask your driver to make a brief pit-stop. You could load up on a bottle or two of some fine Bourbon — Elijah Craig by Heaven Hill perhaps, or maybe a Knob Creek by Jim Beam, or maybe Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style by Brown-Foreman Shively? Or you can just ask one of the store clerks to pick out a couple of fine Bouborns for you — maybe one that’s very Charred Oak and Vanilla, and one that has a good Chocolate punch to it, or maybe one that’s more dry fruity, either way, be sure to pick up a bag of ice before you leave. Whatever you decide on, enjoy, but don’t let your selections prevent you from exploring the wonderful wealth of excellent cocktail lounges all up-and-down the Fabulous Las Vegas Strip! 😷😎

The Lowry Hill Liquor Store is a long-term business in the Uptown section of Minneapolis. This photograph was taken in 2015. Sometimes around late 2022 the storefront was remodeled and the sign was removed.
