The in-flight entertainment system on our 767 flight was apparently powered by linux. Unfortunately, it was also having problems and rebooted a couple of times, which is why we saw this in the first place. Cool that they chose Linux, uncool that it kept crashing.
A Nokia mobile running python, which in turn talked to a PC running Linux, via Bluetooth, is controlling this car. The car's radio is controlled by the parallel port. Confused? :-D
