these guys freak me out and piss me off. in edinburgh there are "monks" stopping you on the street and engaging you in ridiculous discussions and trying to sell you disks, which in fact are renditions of popular tunes by Hare Krishna devotees. they are also very insistant and sometimes grab you by the arm or whatever if you don't want to listen to them. so call out "gouranga" and inspire homocidal tendencies!

Finally installed linux on my laptop.
Actually I installed linux (vanilla Debian) a year ago, but it broke when I tried upgrading to unstable, and never could fix it. Always meant to reinstall but didn't get around to it until last week.
And then later this day when I tried to install the nvidia-glx drivers ubuntu broke. (*mumble* crappy non-free software *mumble*) I'll try and fix it later.
This is all just another step in my wiimote-controled lego robot project.
