Seien wir mal ehrlich. Die " Barrierefreiheit "beginnt beim kostenlosen Betriebssystem. Oder?

La mia installazione Ubuntu 8.04 di casa sta seriamente rischiando di venire rimpiazzata dalla distribuzione 3.2 di DreamLinux, nettamente più veloce, finalmente più matura, più stabile e debianosa come piace a me.

Questa gira per ora come Virtual Machine con prestazioni ottime. Provata anche come Live CD su un vecchio Pentium III a 600 mhz / 256 mb di ram, sempre con ottime prestazioni, e riconoscimento delle periferiche (fra le quali una USB WiFi) perfetta, a livello di Ubuntu. E poi la bellissima barra "Engage" stile MacOsx, facilmente gestibile dall'utente...

Il Live CD/installazione è liberamente scaricabile, da http://www.dreamlinux.com.br

In modalità Live CD è possibile provarla senza toccare il sistema operativo installato.

I've found my new local cafe. Good coffee (from I Deal Coffee), good baked stuff, comfy decor, power bars along the walls, pile of Ubuntu CDs at the counter, conversation behind me about a network install of Debian.

Yay, just got OpenMate working on Ubuntu!

It's going to be the open source, multiplatform version of TextMate! It's really basic at the moment, but we only just started writing it last week. It is written using wxRuby.
