looking thru old pictures. german laundry detergent. heehee.

Finally was able to get 64bit linux working on my PC ( an AMD Athlon 64). The picture in the background was of the Janjira fort in Maharashtra. Everything else is linux :-)

Linux (Slax 6.0.7) rodando no Positivo Mobile Mobo. Funciona, com ressalvas, mas é promissor :)

The Linux transition is complete. After discovering that I can transfer pictures from my digital camera to this desktop with little effort I decided to give up Windows entirely.

 

I spent most of the morning wiping my laptop clean and reinstalling Ubuntu Linux. This is my desktop, round 2, with some minor improvements over the last screen shot.

 

So long Windows. I hope the door hits you on the way out.
