To make it more interesting i printied with 2 colours showing the different style of cut i did to get the difference effects
I used a single lino tile to create this pattern by making sure all the tenticals joined when printed. I used printing ink and pressure to transfer the pattern.
I completed a reduction repeated lino print as a prep using one of my favourite underwater photos from my photoshoot. The layered colours I chose were made to make the design pop and stand out from the bright and dark
backgrounds. I completed a lino print on black card, white card, wallpaper, and bright pink paper.

Finally I have made a few of linocuts. Not that easy thing I should admit, but still interesting. So here are some zoo thingies I have made. I don't know if that was the right way, but I think I have devised my own way of making linoprints. Hope you like them. This one is my favorite, so it might happen I will give it to someone as a present. I'm fond of behaving like this :)
For the my current project, my theme changed to looking at female homoeroticism and femininity. I made mask which touches onto my theme. I was inspired by Japanese manga genre called Shojo to create these eyes for my narrative.
Materials used: Linoprint, calico fabric, cotton, thread, colouring pencils and oil pastels.
Because Zaidee wanted to be able to change inks quickly, she decided to use a brayer and hand ink each print. Her inking is wonderfully uniform.
