he walked with purpose, yet surrounded by endless space.

the lines led him forward, but to where?

perhaps he didn’t know.

perhaps it didn’t matter.

Just Walking the Streets XIII (Urban Labyrinth)

Every station has its ghosts, waiting for a train that never comes.

Small curiosities that catch the eye on a walk along the beach. Stones, algae, seaweed. Traces of the wind depositing light, dry sand on dark, wet sand or accumulating in the lee of small stones.

Black and white abstract photo of geometric wall decor with sharp shadows in Szentendre, Hungary.

In the washroom of the former drop forge in Solingen, the water taps stand closely aligned – remnants of a working world long gone. The black-and-white photograph highlights the strict geometry and the silence of a space once filled with voices, movement, and labor.

the cyclist does not pass. he draws a line. between the lines of valencia's white bones, he becomes both presence and echo. time here folds, reflects, repeats.

The geometry of solitude and connection.

In a world of speed and precision, one photographer finds stillness in the geometry of the scene. The sleek lines of the Porsche Museum intertwine with the silent observer, capturing a moment where architecture and artistry collide. A stairway becomes a stage, a lens a gateway—perspective is everything.

A high pass road we had to negotiate with our motor home through a mountain range dividing two of the Icelandic Westfjords. The late afternoon light provided intense shadows and strong contrasts which turned this landscape even more abstract..

i stood in palma, in front of a government building with no name, no flag, no people. just light cutting across its silent wall. then this rider came. no sound, no hesitation, just the silhouette slipping exactly into the shadow’s edge. the city didn’t notice. but it was perfect. like geometry delivering a message no one had written.

Shot in bold monochrome from the Brooklyn Bridge, this image captures the jagged Manhattan skyline behind a grid of suspension cables. The sun blazes through the haze, flattening the skyline into silhouette and casting the whole scene in stark contrasts. The convergence of structure and skyline creates a layered tension—geometry meets chaos, light meets shadow.

Architectural reflection - Brooklyn

A weathered wooden "persiana" casts intricate shadows onto a sunlit wall, each beam of light transforming into rhythmic patterns that seem to dance as the sun moves through the sky. The shutter, a testament to Mallorcan tradition, stands resilient against time, its lines intersecting with sunlight in a poetic play of light and dark, evoking the quiet elegance of everyday objects under the Mediterranean sun.
