Der Neue Leuchtturm steht als südlichster Leuchtturm Deutschlands in Lindau im Bodensee und ist damit auch der einzige Leuchtturm in Bayern. Er hat eine Höhe von 33 Metern und am Sockel einen Umfang von 24 Metern. Er ist einer der wenigen Leuchttürme, die eine Uhr in der Fassade besitzen.

Esta ciudad se destaca, por tener la entrada del puerto más hermosa de todo el lago. Como se ve en la imagen, de pie, de seis metros de altura, el león la mira vigilante. El área del puerto era anteriormente propiedad de los ferrocarriles alemanes, Deutsche Bahn, antes de que la vendieran a la ciudad de Konstanz en Baden-Württemberg. El puerto, incluidos el león y el faro, solo fue devuelto a Baviera después de una prolongada disputa que duró hasta el año 2010

Die Einfahrt zum Hafen, in dem u. a. die Bodensee-Kursschiffe aus Bregenz, Rorschach und Friedrichshafen anlegen, wird begrenzt vom neuen Leuchtturm von 1856 auf der Westseite und vom Bayrischen Löwen auf der Ostseite.
