ens hagués fet tornar a aquests prats.
Fa temps que els coneixem
però és com si no els haguéssim vist mai.
No hi ha límits per a la llum
i aquests prats i aquests boscos
ara canten sota els nostres peus,
la mateixa, sempre la mateixa, cançó.
I oblidarem que hem estat aquí
fins que una cançó ens faci memòria
d'aquests horitzons sense límits.

Friday's Food for Thought (Late edition)
It is amazing how life is like a video game. After you complete a major task in life you learn there is a larger and greater task waiting for you to conquer. Life has a way to push you beyond your limits to places you never thought you'd achieved. When trials hit aways remember it is preparing you to go beyond you limits.
Side note: Sorry for the late post. It has been a long day. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

paper lampshade for Macro Mondays. I did a lot of photos of the same object for this theme, but this is the only one where I'm sure it fits the size limits. This part is 6 cm wide.

Julia Child
I believe that Julia Child was referring to the cooking process being involved in imagination. However, often I am easily distracted from the task at hand.
Being in the kitchen with sliced food or small kitchen tools, I see those items as photographic subjects. I think it's good to let one's imagination run wild...within limits, I suppose. :)
through the play on words passes on a macho message. but we can also imagine that this "easy girl" speaks to other women. and also refers to the jazzland indicated by the sign at the bottom left.

Stourbridge Shuttle 139002 arrives at Stourbridge Junction with a service from Stourbridge Town, less than a mile away on what is famously Europe's shortest branch line.
I took the shot during a pre-dawn stop at the junction - thanks to a cancellation on services to Kidderminster and Worcester. Cheers again, Covid-19!

NS 786 ducks under the signal bridge at Ross as it enters yard limits at Mansfield to swap out with a Columbus crew.
Many trains short and long go through the city limits of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. Their horns blow as a warning that they are entering or exiting these cities. Loads of freight are constantly hauled by trains and though traffic doesn't like to wait, safety is what they hope for as their journey continues
After reaching the last 10 feet of the former PRR trackage left in place and being ran around, the FRA train now departs Petoskey for Cadillac.
MG Tower was another difficult to access tower, but despite the tough to get to location, MG was lensed by a plethora of railfans over the years. Over three quarters of a century after its construction, MG still stands west of the Horseshoe Curve, long since closed. On this snowy day in February of 1985, though, MG was very much alive! A westbound with helpers on the rear is seen exiting MG's interlocking limits as another westbound is about to take a clear signal lined by the operator.

Mike, my dive partner, pointed to a cloud at the limit of visibility--we watched it get bigger, and it resolved into this school of horse-eye jacks, Caranx latus. I got just one shot and then they were too far.
