So this makes a creepy counterpoint to the previous, sunny shot. Here my room light is off, window closed and I have two LED lights (each light has a cluster of three LEDs in the middle) on the roof, with some white paper in between to diffuse the bright light.
Definitely the mood is more eerie here, the diffused light makes everything look flat. And the blue in the light bley bricks seems to dominate more. Even the glossiness of the floor is dulled now and the whole scene feels stagnant? compared to the previous shot.
It happens in our lives to get lost, locked in a liminal space. How to get out is different for anybody, but the most important thing is to sit down and carefully evaluate all options without rushing and with a clear rational mindset.
"this is the key point about thresholds: they are not the place of life and not the place of death. in their narrow confines you may find fantasy, memory, dream, anxiety, miracle, intuition, and magic. these are the means by which the deep soul prospers..." - thomas moore
dear friends!! let us honor the thresholds that we encounter in this life... let us bring to them our attention, and our love.
may all travelers find joy!!
