This gives me a headache
Places like this make me feel timeless - like I'm no longer in the modern world. Everyone is so hyped up about modern things, but no one remembers to talk about the things that were there before anything else. I've never seen #grass or #nature trending. Or #air, or #sky, or #clouds, or #trees..
That's how all of us lost our magic. Because I, you, none of us, remember it. Or where it originated from. The tall trunks of the graceful trees in the quiet forest.. the leaves when they glide delicately in the breeze.. the sound of grass when you step on it. A sort of melancholic sigh.
Sometimes I feel a little like I'm being torn between different centuries. Without technology I wouldn't be able to cope very well, but then without a park I'll feel like a part of me has died inside. Nature makes a big difference; it really does. Put down your phone, put down your computer, leave the air conditioner for another day.. Take a walk in the park and you'll see a difference, I promise you.
Here is one of just five 675LTs in Malaysia. In fact, there are only two spiders and this is one of them. Lots of carbon, lots of sparkles in the paint. Yes, it has been a great week.

This morning's convoy to find some seafood BKT. Over 2,000bhp in this frame, and one car MIA on holiday.
M3 surprisingly competent, managing to tail the F12 very closely, both highways and B-roads.

Headed out to Chicago's Blues Fest I realized that I couldn't find my fake press pass.
I didn't have time to make a really good one.
So I took my pass from the comic convention... C2E2 and taped a business card to it.
It even said 'Saturday' which was like a bonus because it was Saturday and everything.
Anything hanging around your neck gives you an air of authority and no one stopped me anywhere.
I could have got a press pass from Bob Jones, the guy who started Blues Fest...
I shot him last year and he dug the shots.
But I'd rather do it this way.
It makes everything more exciting.
Gonna be an interesting weekend, especially considering I'm getting this for the next couple of days. Fuel consumption is horrid so far. And the rain? Doesn't help that this is RWD, with treadwear quite heavy on the rear wheels.
Aquaplaning at 75km/h? Been there, done that.

Was south in Singapore earlier this week to test the Boxster GTS. Had the car to myself for 24 hours, but unfortunately, experienced one of the worst storms Lion City had seen in several weeks.
When the weather calmed down late at night, I dropped the top and just went cruising around.

i got a couple CD's including two door cinema club, the shins, and vampire weekend, some sweet new headphones and a metrenome/tuner x) haahah. im such a nerd, but ive been needing one of those for a whiiiile.

There are few better ways to spend a day, than heading up for the hills in a pair of Porsches. Testing the turbocharged 718 model Boxster S, I decided to pit it against the older, naturally aspirated 987 model Cayman R.

Curiously, the 12C spider looks much better than its coupé brethren, especially with the roof down and even with doors closed. But drop the roof and open those wings, and what you have is a stunning work of art...

It's Gizmo!
Gremlins for me, is one of those films that exists as a real benchmark for 'They don't make them like they used to'.
These films were the bomb, one of the best parts was I never really knew as a kid if I should be allowed to watch them or not. Was it horror? A film for kids? Comedy? All of them really. I don't feel ready for Christmas until I've seen the first film, it's a must every year.
For all the great things CG does for film, I'll always favour puppets and animatronics when it comes to films like this, they're much more tactile and feel real and alive, even if they're not.
I went a bit crazy with the textures/colour on this but hey, it was fun.
The biggest, baddest video game boss of all time. Half unfeeling machine, half raging horned devil.
