Deboxing new Elsa 16'' Singing Doll. The Try Me button has been freed from the front window, then inner box is slid out of the outer box. The doll is attached to the backing, which is free standing. She is placed next to her image on the back of the empty outer box.
I've finally gotten around to deboxing the Elsa Deluxe Feature Doll. I am way more impressed with her than I thought I would be. As with the Rapunzel Feature doll, the Try Me button on Elsa makes her sing about 10 seconds of Let It Go, and the lights in her forearms and cape turn on. The ten lights on the cape alternately light up on one side then the other as she sings. Once the Try Me button is detached from the front window, we can slide the doll out from the bottom of the box. The Try Me button is attached to her back, along with the lights on her cape. After the Try Me button is unplugged from her back, Elsa's sound and lights are triggered by sliding her ice swirl accessory a little way along her right hand. It is a bit hard to do the first time you try it, as the fit is very snug on her hand, and you have to push the bottom of the accessory very hard to get it to switch on her special effects. She sings about 30 seconds of Let It Go, the same segment as the older 16 inch singing Elsa doll. The singing is very clear, and just the right volume. I haven't compared the old doll with the new yet, as I need to replace the batteries on the old doll. The most outstanding feature of the doll is her cape, which has a glittery pattern of snowflakes and icicles completely covers the cape, and is even more detailed than the Classic Elsa's cape. It is slightly longer than floor length, so can hold its position. It is fully lined, to enclose the lights inside the cape. The other awesome feature of the doll are her semi transparent blue ice heels, which also have some glitter embedded.

It all looks pretty with a long exposure but in reality it's cold, crowded and almost impossible to take a picture without someone standing in front of your lens.

also have a self contained unit that only lights up eyes/chest with battery in chest
this one runs off 2 AA batteries in a box hidden in the vignette

I could not even move one millimeter when taking this photo, therefore it is slightly asymmetric :(
The Castle has been fully assembled. The Castle is closed to show the exterior. The front gate is also closed. Flags and various other accessories have been added, some of which are not seen in this view. They include the furniture, staircase, platform, and bridge. Tinker Bell has been attached to the flagpole of the highest tower. The other figures have been placed in various spots in and around the Castle.
The Disneyland Resort 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration Sleeping Beauty Castle Playset. Disneyland purchase on Sunday May 31, 2015, from the World of Disney store. It was released in Disneyland on May 20, 2015. Detailed photos boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed, in various configurations.
The Castle is in a large box, requires assembly, and costs $84.95.
The Castle has lights and sounds, powered by included batteries. Pressing the left button on the steps of the entrance causes a light show with various towers being lit up in white and blue. Pressing the right button causes one of four short musical segments to be played.
There are 10 mini figures included, all of which can free stand (some more stably than others). Prince Phillip also comes with separate sword and shield, both of which attach to him. I had difficulty getting the sword to stay in his hand, and broke the handle off the sword in trying. But I super glued the handle to his hand, then the blade to the handle, and the fix worked. Tinker Bell comes with a transparent post that looks like a long double sided wrench, which enables her to hang in the air off one of the tower flag poles. Some of the mini figure's faces are a bit off, especially their eyes, but overall they are good representations of the animated characters.
The Castle can be displayed closed (as it comes in the box), or can be opened up to be able to use the interior spaces. The gate of the front entrance can slide up and down. Two of the doors in the towers can open and close. Included is a tall staircase, a low platform. and a bridge, all of which are sturdy. The eight flags are made of wavy vinyl with poles that stick into the towers. Then decals are applied to the flags that say Disneyland on one side, and have the D60 logo on the other side.
The Castle was fun and easy to put together. The sound and light show is short but impressive up close. This is a very good value with the quality of construction and the number and variety of figures and accessories included. It is on a par with the Frozen Arendelle Castle playset, which was $15 more expensive.

The rose ornament has been deboxed, and is placed next to its box.
The Enchanted Rose Light-Up Ornament was in plentiful supply at my local Disney Store on its release day (both online and in stores), Monday March 13, 2017. I bought one, and show it alone and side by side with the comparable Lenox 25th Anniversary Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Rose Ornament. The Lenox ornament I got from Macy's in November 2016 for $24 ($23.99), and the DS ornament is $40 ($39.95), so it costs 67% more. They both have glass domes that are not removable, and are about 5 inches in overall height. The DS dome is slightly taller, and quite a bit wider. Like the Lenox ornament, it is about the right scale for a 12 inch doll. The DS ornament has etchings on the dome, since it is based on the live action movie, and the rose lights up. It is quite expensive for an ornament, and since it so large and heavy, it can't really be hung from a tree. But is also quite beautiful, and an accurate depiction of the movie enchanted rose.

Ahhh...... it's too difficult for me to take photographs at night.
The Momiji's red was more clear and more beautiful, and of course, the Moon was not just a circle, the surface of moon was delicately beautiful.
But I can't tell you such beauty to you. :-[
Try again at the next year.
