It lights up nicely. As you can see, I cut open the big blue windows for the arboretum. For some reason, Bandai didn't have those cut out. Also I put thin blue plastic behind it for the glass.

Lighted black cat pumpkin for context for the scavenger item about a shadow. Actually noticed it during the day but needed darkness to get the eyes and smile to show up.
Despite the moon, I was able to observe probably 20-30 meteors during the short time I watched. I decided to try a star trail version this year (vs. tracking) since the moon was so bright. I initially went with 1600 ISO (thinking I'd be able to catch the fainter trails) but had to back off to 800 ISO and 30 second subs. There are 4 streaks in here, but that 4th one is very tough to spot. You'll probably need to see it larger.
17mm, f/4, ISO 800, ~80x30s stacked with "StarTrails" software.

this was in between the ppg buildings....a beautiful tree in the middle of an iceskating rink.
that is meg in the foreground shooting a similar shot...and aunt debbie above her in the silver jacket w/her arms out (doing what....i haven't a clue)..haha.
I just love the stuff going on in this shot...
the cutie little couple kissing...
the three friends posing....
it was just such a fun little spot full of life and beauty.
i backed myself into a tight corner for stability and shot this at slow speed to catch some movement and avoid noise.
